Excellent!
Ok, I was looking for a smaller/shorter tripod. Since I already own THREE of JOILCAN’s 74-inch model, I decided to see what might be offered in a “mini” model. Enter this 25-incher. The first impression .. Happily, the quality seems to match that of its big brother …. The only exception being the leg locks/clamps. All 6 of these seem to be exceptionally Tight. Compared to the larger units I own, it takes FAR more effort to engage or disengage the locks on the smaller one. Will they break? Only time will tell.Maybe I was in a hurry, but I was unaware that a camera/tablet holder was included…..an added bonus. If I find meself needing another Shorty in the future, I will Not hesitate to purchase again.

Great Hobbyist Tripod
Very pleased with the quality and adjustability of this tripod. It collapses very easily and extends to a nice height. It is very stable. I expect it would not hold up to the heavy daily use a professional may need.

Solid little tripod
I’m very happy with my little new tripod. And yes, that’s why I bought it, for travel. I don’t like checking bags and this is my solution to get a tripod in a carry on bag. It’s stable and sturdy as much as can be expected for a small tripod. I plan to shoot mostly astro photos- milky way maybe some nebula, though I’ll maybe be limited to just one lens. Going to the dark skies of Hawaii this time. Aloha! I have three star trackers and will be taking along my tiny move-shoot-move. If you need a small tripod, consider this one. I highly recommend it.

Worth the price
I ordered this because my old tripod (made for a large video recorder) was too large for a project I was getting ready to do. Since that was the only need I had for a smaller tripod, I wanted something serviceable but inexpensive. The description made this sound like it fit the bill. It was good for what it is, and it did handle my one-time need. So no complaints. My reason for only a 3-star rating was that it does not seem to be able to handle the weight of my good sized digital camera, particularly with a fairly large lens that I normally use with it. The fixture for using this with a cell phone seems to be quite useful, though, and I will probably make use of that at some future times.

This looks and feels sturdy. Well built, and works well in a range of operation. You have to turn the legs to enable the extension, and turn the other way to lock it. My concern is that doing the turning and clicking many times over something will give way, so time will tell.Some thought has gone it so that the various parts work well together as a whole and not cause friction or such, e.g. there is a bit of foam on the legs to prevent the middle pole cutting into it. Again, over time, this might wear out. The screw to clamp or unclamp the camera holder is a far better idea than a twist and clip found in other tripods.The middle pole being made in two parts is ingenious, that you can reassemble it “upside down” which enables the camera to be clamped much lower down. I don’t quite like the middle knob that controls the height of the middle pole and the tilt, but I can see this makes some sense that doing two tasks in one is probably a good thing, and also it saves another knob, which saves space.Its weight is not too light nor heavy; too light it will topple easily, too heavy, well it defeats purpose of being small. It comes with a holder for smartphone, as many tripods do. Overall, very impressed with it.

Buen tripode relacion calidad/precio. No soy un usuario que le guste cargar con trÃpodes pesados. Me gusta que todo lo que necesito para fotografiar me quepa en la misma mochila pequeña, asà que me ha venido de perlas. Ademas es un puntazo que se pueda poner la cámara colgando bocabajo, ya que me encantan las fotos a nivel del suelo, y puedo acercarla muchÃsimo a esa linea. Trae soporte para el movil. Sin duda, lo recomiendo.
