Debunking investing for Women
This book was an eye-opener for me. I have always been afraid of investing. I liked how this book walks you through a step-by-step process to start investing. It debunks the idea that that part of the financial world is only for men and that we, as women, can level the playing field.Of particular interest to me was the section on the types of investments and how they work. The fear of investing lies in not understanding the jargon and the workings of the various investment methods. So I appreciate the simple definitions provided here. There is good advice that a slow and steady approach can pay off when done right. Ultimately what this book provides is the confidence you need to get started. If you want to learn and dip your toe in investing, this book is a good place to start to learn about it.

Better read than Rich Dad Poor dad
I too wish I would have had this book earlier in my life. It would have transformed me from a consumer to an investor and I wouldn’t be struggling in retirement. I am not sure why authors feel the need to target one gender as if one is more reluctant to invest or intimidated by the process of buying and managing a stock portfolio. I do like how the author walks us through simple steps and makes investing seem almost natural. This is the one beginner’s book you want your kids (young adults) to read along with some guidance so they can get started accumulating their own wealth. Equities are Ownership!!

Easy to understand basics of stock investing
Comprehensive guide to understanding the stock market from a femaleâs perspective. The book shares a study by Fidelity, explaining why females are typically better long term stock investors than males. The book also covers types of investments, ETFs, REITS, dividend stocks, index funds, bonds, diversification, introductory terms for newbies, opening a brokerage account, and more. Great overview of the basic concepts to start your stock investing journey!

Everyone can invest
When I purchased this book, I didn’t realize that it was written for women. Now that I have read it, I would recommend it to anyone that feels intimidated about investing in the stock market. For a variety of reasons, people don’t feel confident in their ability to make good financial decisions. In this book, Megan Reed describes a variety of ways that new investors can ease into the stock market world. An empowering read for anyone that is looking to up their investment game but isn’t sure how to do it.

Well Paced and Understandible
This book is at the level beginning investors need. I ONLY give it four stars because i purchased the Kindle edition and I just have a preference for hardcopy. The step approach is the right way to introduce the topics for this type of subject. I feel like the writing is designed to pull the reader along in order to NOT overwhelm with fluff terminology. For people already investing, I say give this book a chance. NOT for your own sake, but family and friends. This book is a great example of how to approach the topic in explaining investing to novices. I saw a number of explanations I will use in the future when asked about strategies and concepts.

a book for true novice
This is a book for anyone who has never heard of stocks and how stock Market works. It is a basic book introducing very basic concepts but does not really shed any light on an investment strategy.

This book is an excellent resource for women who are new to the world of stock investing and want to learn how to build a solid foundation for their financial future. The author, Megan Reed, does an excellent job of explaining the basics of stock investing in a way that is easy to understand and follow. She covers topics such as the different stocks, how to research and analyze potential investments, and the importance of diversification and risk management. One of the standout features of this book is the focus on strategies specifically tailored to women. Megan recognizes women face unique challenges with investing, such as the gender pay gap and the fact that they live longer than men. She provides practical advice on how women can overcome these challenges and take control of their financial future through smart investment decisions.Besides covering the basics of stock investing, she also discusses a little advanced topics, such as investing in Index Funds and ETFs, which are also the most talked about investments nowadays. These topics are explained in a way that is easy for beginners to understand, but still provide valuable insights for more experienced investors.Overall, The Ultimate Stock Investing for Beginners Playbook is a valuable resource for any woman looking to learn more about stock investing and take control of her financial future. It is well-written, easy to understand, and packed with valuable information and strategies. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to get started in stock investing.

The book goes over some basic investing concepts, but I found it too poorly written and haphazardly structured to pass along as a gift. I would read a few well-written articles on the subject and save your money.
