Fun diversion and practical, too
It’s based on acoustics, so who is clapping, how they clap, and how near you are to the device make a big difference. That said, the little ones think it is so cool that you’ll regret showing them how to make it work. LOL

The classic clapper of the old as seen on TV. Wish I could give it 5 stars based on memories. Itâs really hit and miss. Sometimes a good strong clap turns it on, others it takes about 6 double claps. Definitely do not think it is worth what they charge. It seems to wait to turn on until you get to the point of frustration.

It has 3 settings. high , low and away. I don’t know what away is but the low and high mean how sensitivethe clapper is to your claps. On low , I slam my hands together Really Loud and sometimes I have to do this 2 or 3 times. I am strong so it should work once. Hence Low is no good for me.On High, once in a while there will be a loud sound like a book being slammed down on a table and the clapper will turn on or off the lamp. But this is rare. So I have it on High and am happy with it.

Our family loves this clapper. I bought it for the 14 year old and we put it in the main living room because we all liked it so much. Very funny to hear C-3P0 when the lights go on and off.
