Tortoise Adventures (with poetry)
There once was a tortoise,Her friends call her Clyde. She likes to go wanderingAnd then likes to hide.A remote little corner,A tortoise-sized nookMaybe under the dresserOr nestled with books. The darker the better,A good place to snooze. All quiet and comfyIs where she will choose. It’s all well and good’Til it’s time to come home. You’d think I could find her,But this time … heck no.Will she come when called? She’s a tortoise, so … no.Will she make any noise? She never has. (It’s the boys that tend to make noise, and then under very … special … circumstances.)Will she snooze for the better part of THREE OR FOUR DAYS (or more) because it’s winter and that’s what she does? YES!So, given the above, after a couple of cursory searches, did I then crawl around on my hands and knees with a flashlight at 11 PM? Yes.Twice?? Yes.The second time, did I break out my professional-grade knee pads because nobody over the age of twelve should be crawling around on hardwood floors, AKA, I’M TOO OLD FOR THIS CRAP?? Yes.Did I spend a restless night dreaming of turtle-gobbling house-coyotes and turtle-sized holes in my walls where she could fall into the crawl space and get trapped and starve to death? Yeah. She owes me big for that. The next morning, did I begin to methodically tear up my house, moving every piece of furniture that she could conceivably hide behind, looking in places that a baby mouse couldn’t squeeze into, much less a 1.5-lb. tortoise? Why, YES. Yes I did, and thanks for asking.Did I drag out the vacuum cleaner because OMG it’s astonishing how much dust accumulates under there? Sigh. Yes.Halfway through, did I enlist the assistance of a highly-amused friend? Yes. HIGHLY amused. And did we find the errant tortoise five minutes later in the VERY NEXT CLOSET? Of COURSE we did.The same closet that I had looked in THREE times already? At LEAST three times.(Do I have any clue how she got in there, because I don’t remember that particular door being open at any point the day before? Nope, still no idea.)Do I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PRODUCT?? Seriously? At this point, do you have to ask? Yes. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this product, especially for anyone with a small, house-roaming tortoise.P.S. Right, the actual review. I like this particular product because it’s small and light enough not to bother the tortoise, you can replace the battery, and there are four fobs in case she gets another friend or three (her current friend has exactly two hiding places, and I know them both). I also like that it’s “base” oriented and not “app” oriented. Apps can get updated past the phone’s OS, get deprecated, or otherwise just go away (e.g., the company gets bought and tanked by a competitor). This thing worked Day 1 and will work after the zombie apocalypse takes out the internets.P.P.S. Kiddies, don’t use anything permanent to attach – no glue, or velcro, or even super-sticky tape. Your tortoise can definitely feel it (her shell is a lot like your fingernail, and her spine is actually at the very top). I used low-adhesive masking tape, then stuck it to my sweatshirt once or twice for good measure. Worked like a champ.P.P.P.S. Her name isn’t really Clyde, but I’m claiming poetic license (I’m an Amazon reviewer, not the poet laureate).

OMG FINALLY
So as embarrassing as it is to say I’m sure someone can relate? Hence the creation of this miracles life saver. Ive always been know for misplacing EVERY THING NPT JOKING if it is put down I’ll loose it and its gotten so bad over the years I make it. A joke but it’s embarrassing frustrating and honestly is depressing. The reason I got this was my poor dog. He it’s so patient and so calm, but he would ask to go out and every single time it never failed. No matter what I did, I would lose his leash and harness, and it would turn into this 30 minute ordeal, and it was just heartbreaking and it was so frustrating. So now he knows, follow the beep and this is just totally changed my life and I really appreciate it i am in the process of ordering another set, so I can put one on the remote lol

Great key finder
I used each of the units on my different keys. The great part is I get busy put my keys down and forget where they are. Now I push a button and the receive make a loud enough sound to find the keys I am looking for

Great for so many uses.
Comes in handy. I am at the age where it’s important that I put items like my keys, cell phone, etc. in the same location. This device helps 100% when I break that rule. A plus is that it comes with 4 attachments. Thus my hubby and I share the device. The holder is an absolutely plus. I came hear the sound throughout the house, thus the remote does not have to leave the arear where the base is placed. It’s small and cute, thus it blends right in with my decor.

Great Concept. Actual product, so so.
I bought a similar one a few years back. One feature I really like is that it is NOT smart. I just want my keys to beep so I can find them. I always keep them in the same spot, but every once in awhile I get distracted and don’t put keys where they belong. I have missed appointments because I can’t find keys.Important: When you buy a car from a dealer make it part of the deal to get a spare engine start key. It will cost you $400 + or minus to replace a lost computer chipped car key. Most importantly, this remote beeper was not very loud. If you have a toggle attached to cell phone and it’s in a purse, you will barely hear it. It helps, but could be louder.

I bought these mostly to be able to find our tv/firestick remotes. If you have kids, you know. With the provided sticky tabs and keyring, its working well. I also wrapped in tape to prevent kid from picking off the sticky tab just while fidgeting. Also added ones to my wallet and keys. Cuz I lose things too. Also added some to my kid. No really 🙂 I added one to his backpack. And I’ve even given him one to keep in his pocket when he goes out to play. He won’t come when I call, but when I beep him he comes straight in with no complaining. #winning. (It went through the laundry once and still works perfectly!)It doesn’t have too much range though so it won’t work if he at the park or at his friends house.Once I even brought the remote with me to an event and let my kid wander a bit. Beeped him when I lost him in the crowd and he came straight back. (Obviously I wouldn’t trust this for small kiddos, or big/busy public places or a replacement for proper supervision. But my kid is a bit older and I don’t need to hover while giving him a chance to practice being autonomous.)Only problem is we have 2 set of these, so when I push a button, both tags of that colour will beep. Can make things a bit harder to track down, but not a huge deal.

Works good as advertised but keep in mind that if you’re planning to by another set, it will work on the same frequency and both sets will beep at the same time. This is really disappointing but I’m still giving it 5 stars because the original product is really good. I just wish they would fix that.
