Perfect can opener
I purchased this can opener around Christmas time and have been very pleased with its performance. Itâs sturdy, well-built, and glides smoothly around the lid without much effort. It is very easy to grip, even for longer sessions in the kitchen, and the cutting wheel feels sharp and secure.

Top notch service!!
We don’t open many cans in our household, but this was very easy to use. We had a recent issue and the opener stopped working (wouldn’t latch onto the rim of the can). I contacted the company and after showing a picture and video of the faulty unit they sent a new one at no charge. It arrived in just a couple days and works great. Their communication was fast and efficient. I am very impressed with their service level and will happily recommend to friends.

Not dependable – dont buy.
More cons than pros… I’m unsure why I purchased this with just a 4.0First, it consistently takes of the top line of can label (enough to where that sliver of label can often and easily get INSIDE the can as its opening) so be sure you double check there’s no paper in your foodSecond, I dealt with this for a bit, bit now it got to a point where I’m throwing this away. The start and stop feature isn’t as obvious/smooth as it should be. One press to start and should be one press to stop – however, very often it either restarts trying ro take the lid off of you actually can’t even get the lid out of the tool. It comes off the can, but the mechanisms that Grip the can to cut them release, were not working well. So it just took me ten mins of trying to bend and pry the can lid and press the button 47 times to release the can lid from the opener, eventually cutting myself from frustration.Third – it shakes the can, alot. I’ve used similar style and a can shouldn’t vigorously shake when you aren’t holding it. A can of corn for example, be prepared for yhat can to shake and liquid to come out.Throwing away and buying a diff brand.Gonna buy this? Keep a manual opener on hand.

Purchased one for my handicap mother and for myself. I have arthritis in my hand and itâs easy for both of us to use. Easy to clean as well. You have to turn it off. I would prefer for it to stop on its own once the can is open.

Not worth it, get something better
EDIT: Gave this an another star because of the great customer service. After writing my review the company contacted me and offered me a full refund even though it was past the return window. I will not be buying this product again but I will most likely buy other products because of the customer service.This seemed like a good product. It seems easy to use, but it never wants to release the top of the can. When you press the button to release it just spins it in the opposite direction. Used it for just over a month before I decided to just call a quits. Unfortunately for me, the return window passed and not I have a junk paperweight.

I have waited this long to review the product because I wanted to make sure I approved of the the can opener completely and I do 100%. I am older and this was to replace a hand turning and electric opener. This worked so much better for my arthritic hands , my brother has always had trouble operating any machines and I made sure he was war able to use it with ease. I canât say enough good things about this opener. We just place it on top of the can, push the button on top and let it go. When the can is open just push the button again and you are done. Practically no noise .. usually companies send you something to review their product right away but I wanted to wait until I could rate it with lots of use.
