I purchased this for my daughter and her family as a present. She and her husband have two young children and do a lot of entertaining with other young families in their neighborhood. This is a perfect backyard game that’s really useable by all ages.The kit comes in a long box and has a total weight of about 8.5 pounds.The two wooden ladders:All the wood used in the ladders is a high-quality clear pine. The wood is sanded smooth and receives a flat clear coating after all the milling work on the wood is complete. This ensures all the cut lap joints and recessed drilled holes are also coated with the sealing finish.Threaded bolts with plastic heads are used to assemble the stands. The rungs fit into counter sunk holes on both sides of the uprights for precise positioning of the rungs and to resist twisting and flexing of the ladders. And the holes in the uprights have metal threaded inserts to accept the threaded bolts allowing you to pull the ladder together tight with no wobble.The horizontal bottom legs are designed with lap joints to fit precisely with the matching bottom piece of the 2 vertical end boards. This keeps the leg aligned with the end piece and allows the use of one bolt.The ladders went together quickly but I had to force the rungs into the recessed holes on each upright. Once I had them in place things went smoothly. The ladders came out beautiful.The full kit includes 2 ladders, 2 sets of bolas, a score board and carrying case. All you need to bring and play a game. Well built ladders set
If you have ever played ladders before and are looking for a quality set this is a good one. It is lightweight for packing up and carrying with you but once put together is super sturdy. The wood it is made of is quality, real wood. The balls have a nice heft to them and are super comfortable to throw. I have taken them down and packed them up several times and putting it together is easy to do. I can do either in easily under 5 minutes with no special tools. If you haven’t ever played, it’s a fun activity for the entire family.

Great backyard game.
Very nice ladder ball set. The wooden frame is well made and easy to assemble. We usually place a couple of small bean bags on the base to help stabilize it during play. It’s been a big hit at out backyard gatherings with family and friends.

Fun Game!!
We have seen this game at many tailgates and BBQâs and have always wanted to grab one. This set is very nice and has some great features. The bag is nicely made and heavy duty so it should last a while. The set is very light weight so throwing it in the truck to take to a any party is for sure an option. The assembly is straight forward and does not take too long. We put it together and went down by the pool and played a game. I won by one point!!! Play on concrete! The option to bounce them on is much easier!

Decent set
We set this ladder ball game up recently for a party and it was easy to assemble. It seems sturdy although it is smaller and shorter than a set that my dad made out of pvc pipes and pieces, which maybe makes a little more of challenge.I like that itâs quick to take apart as well and thereâs a bag to store everything in making it easy to take with us different places. The score board is convenient for keeping track as long as you remember to flip the numbers.I think itâs rather expensive for the size though even if it is made of wood.

Well made ladder ball set
This is a well made ladder ball set. It can easily be assembled and disassembled and put away in the included bag. The wood has been carefully finished so basically you aren’t going to need another one for a while.

Great way to spend an afternoon at the lake
The instructions for putting the ladder ball/golf together were uncomplicated and easy to follow. The assembly time was about 5 minutes. We played next to Fallen Leaf Lake near Tahoe Lake. Everyone in our family participated and had fun. We had so much fun that there were others gathered around watching and some of the watchers joined in with us. Ladder ball/golf (both are mentioned in the instructions), was the perfect game for a sunny, but cool mountain lake afternoon. This ladder ball/golf game was sturdy, and the disassembly was as easy as the assembly. The storage bag it comes with fits all of the disassembled pieces nicely which makes it easy to carry the game.

Nice set for backyard games
This is a quality set with everything you need – even a scoreboard. It goes together in about 5-10 minutes and holds up well as you play, even to hard throws. It does come with a travel bag, but it doesn’t collapse easily, so I ended up just tossing it.
