I donât usually write reviews but i saw on the product card that every purchase helps a child from the YouStars organization receive therapy! Camp Pizza Fanatic
I love making and eating fresh-made, wood-fired oven pizza when camping and this is the ideal choice for use on a portable, stainless steel fire pit I carry with me in a pickup camper. The hinged door helps keep track of cooking progress and helps hold smoke in for flavor. Just make sure to wash it, pre-burn it over a hot fire, and then wash it again before first use cooking a pizza to remove residual manufacturing coatings.

Works great on a campfire too! Keep the heat low.
We took this camping and used it to make pizzas in the woods over the campfire. It worked great! We set it on top of the grate over our campfire. The first few came out a little too dark despite the temperature being in the appropriate range on the thermometer on top of the thing. We let the temperature drop down to just below the acceptable window shown on the thermometer and it worked perfectly every time. It was a big hit. Loved it.

Geras Pizza oven is worth it
We make pizzas every Saturday night with home made dough but in the summer itâs too hot to crank up the oven inside. This oven fit perfectly on my fuego round gas grill. It took only 10 about minutes to heat up, and cooking time was around 8-10 minutes not that much different than the inside oven. I did get an infrared gun to get an exact reading of the pizza stone. It was 475 when I put pizza in, I will try 450 next time because it got done a little faster on bottom than the top. I rolled out the pizza on parchment paper which made it easier to launch and at around the 5 minute mark I slide it off . All in all I was impressed that the top did get done , all the cheese was melted and was even a little browning of the cheese and pepperoni.

Convenient and easy way to make pizza!
Loved how easy it was to set this up. It heats up on the grill very fast and was the perfect size for a personal size pizza. It was easy to use the peel and we especially loved the hatch that allows you more room to retrieve or turn your pizza while itâs still cooking

Not worthwhile
Used 1x and paint is peeling off the oven. It took 5x longer than stated to reach the ideal temp on a high quality grill possibly because instructions said to heat it with the grill door open. It took 30 minutes to cook. I read somewhere that it could be more easily transferred and cooked on parchment paper. The parchment paper stuck and we tried to peel it off a hot pizza inch by inch. It was a disaster. Returning.My indoor oven has a pizza setting and makes a much better pizza in a fraction of the time.

Works Great!!!
Awesome insert that can crank out some good pizza. This price,compared to whatâs out there for homemade outdoor pizza makers, you canât beat. I only gave it 4 because I wish it did get a little hotter. Ive only used it a few times on my gas grill (5 burner old cheap nexgrill). Youâre not supposed to close the lid of the gas grill over it but you kind of need to in order to keep the temp up. Customer service told another customer that it was indeed safe to close the gas grill lid, that it wonât harm the insert. So I do but I keep an eye on it. I would buy again.

It’s ok. I can’t close my bbq top all of the way. It takes forever to heat up. I was very excited to try this out but I am more disappointed.
