Ergodyne Chill Its 6602 Cooling Towel, Long Lasting Cooling Relief Orange 29.50″ x 13.00″

Even though I take walks in the cooler morning before it gets to warm. I am still get hot and sweaty. This towel does very good at cooling me down. The towel is still feels cold when I have reached my turn around point of my walk. Taking the towel and rolling it around in the cold part of the towel revives the part that has has lost it’s cool. During my walks I also have my service dog with me and we have to cross a hot street. But so far my command has work to get off the hot street. But I am prepared to use this towel on her paws to cool them down should it needed. Which has me wondering about getting another one of these typw of products just for her paws.

Rinse very thoroughly before usage! It’s normal to turn hard and lose shape when wet!
This is a quick review of the “Ergodyne Chill Its 6602 Cooling Towel.” I live in the Arizona desert and take a medication that causes excess sweat. As a female who has never run hot in her life, I’m now very self-conscious of it. I keep one of these cooling towels on my neck at almost all-times to keep my temperature cooler, and also to dab the sweat around my forehead. I wear heavy sunblock daily too, so the sweat will sometimes drip into my eyes, causing the sunblock to burn my eyes. This towel helps prevent that as well. I own several brands of these, and I don’t find that one is more effective than another.I would like to point out, as per my video, the instructions state to rinse the towel with warm water before usage. Warm water is sometimes hard to come by in AZ summers, as your water comes out in two temperatures: hot and hotter. Regardless, I did rinse and was shocked to see that the orange colored towel caused orange water before even wringing it out. Then when I wrung it out, it lost A LOT of orange color. I picked the phone up to record after that showing just how much dye was running out when I rinsed it. For that reason, I’d advise people to choose the color wisely and to wear a shirt with caution thr first time you’re using it. In my experience I’ve only ever used the blue until now, and I don’t recall that being an issue before. If I were to wear a white shirt wearing the orange towel on my neck, I am positive it would cause the white shirt to become blotchy orange, so please bear that in mind when you purchase your color and/or use it for the first time.There is a previous video review who showed how uncomfortable and worthless the towel was once dried. I’d like to kindly point out to anyone watching that this material dries that way, regardless of the brand, and it’s perfectly normal for that to occur. All one needs to do is get the towel wet again to get it to lose it’s “hard shape” like that. Furthermore, if you rinse the towel then fold and place into a ziploc bag, then place into the plastic container you received it in, it will stay damp and maintain its folded shape without fully drying out in between uses. However, whether it fully dries out in an odd shape or folded up in the plastic container it came with, it makes zero difference in the efficacy of the towel for future usage. As a reminder, all you need to do is re-wet it and it bounced back to its normal flexible material again and stays cool while wet.Minus the towel losing it’s dye in the water when rinsed and wrung, it’s perfectly functional otherwise, so I am rating it a 4/5. In the event the material breaks down after several uses differently than any other brand I’ve tried, or I experience any other abnormal issues while using it, I’ll update the review accordingly.I hope this review is helpful for someone!

This is one of those slimy chamois when wet towels and stiff cardboard when dry towels. It felt uncomfortable to wear due to slimy feeling.I was not impressed. I liked the color and the low price point. But it did not cool me at all. The concept is easy to use, just get it wet.I did not feel any evaporation or cooling effects at all, and I have tried this style of material before and they at least got cold, even if the texture was still gross.

Unimpressed. Dries out far quicker than claims
The product arrived damp enclosed in a plastic bag. It stunk like chemicals. We purchased two and this was the case with both of them. We washed them in mild soap water…before use yet still smelled a bit like chemicals. On their first outing at dusk, 73 degrees, both sides were brittle in 21 minutes. 45 minutes into our morning hike 60% is scratchy stiff. Spouse removed hers. I wore mine for another twenty minutes and then removed it. The only place it wasn’t stiff was a small area on the neck. Can only imagine how quickly this thing would go stiff on a warm summers day. Will be returning them.

La adquirí principalmente para ir a natación, ya que al salir de la alberca y no ir toda escurrida esta toalla me seca perfectamente, es práctica, tamaño ideal; también sirve si vas de vacaciones a la playa y deseas secarte de manera práctica sin llevar contigo la bata o la toalla enorme, es verdad que cuando se seca se pone tiesa pero es normal, basta con que la mojes un poco y vuelve a ser muy útil.

It works well as a cooling towel but when it dries it’s like a thick piece of cardboard. If I try to fold it back in the bottle it came in it starts cracking.

Love it. I use it even in the house as I am always hot.
