Do Not Buy This
The thing broke on my first attempt to cut a small strawberry with it. The plastic is cheap and breaks very easily. Don’t waste your money on this product. The concept is great, but find an item with a more durable plastic or material.

Item is too weak. Hinge broke on second use.
Hinge is so week that on the second strawberry it snapped out. Item is totally useless.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT
Used this slicer once with an egg and all the blades fell out. It did not cut right through the boiled egg. I put the blades back in and tried it with a strawberry and the same thing happened, blades fell out and the slicer feel apart. I am not pleased at all with this product. I will be asking for a refund.

Really neat little gizmo!
This is another one of those things you thought you didn’t need. However, once you try one you will realize how neat it is. It will slice a whole strawberry into even, thin slices in a sec. Great to decorate cakes, cupcakes, etc. You could add some slices onto a fruit tray also. I buy one at the grocery store, transfer it to a platter, then decorate with the strawberry slices and everyone thinks I spent a lot of time on getting it ready. I plan to use it on Kiwis also by quartering the kiwi first.A fun little item you will not be able to live without!

Worked okay
Iâve not had it long and the bottom snapped in half. You canât fit larger strawberries in it to cut. Occasionally, if the strawberry was just slightly too soft it would mush it and not cut all the way through. Worked for the most part, though.

Not good. Cutters bend while using
I really wanted this to work so I could make fancy deserts for my wife that loves strawberries. Sadly it does not function very well. The strawberries bend the cutters when you try to close it on the strawberries and it will not cut them all the way through. I am using store bought strawberries and they are firm not hard or mushy. Will be returning it as the trouble to use it is more than it is worth and getting the partially cut strawberries out of the slicer is dangerous and will probably cut myself at some point.

Broke on first use.
Do not buy. It broke on the first strawberry I sliced.

Does a good job, saves a lot of time and doesn’t cut your fingers.
I like strawberries, especially with cereal for breakfast. But slicing them with a knife is a tedious and time-consuming business. This gizmo does a great job fast. It’s the second one I’ve had and is better-made than the first one, which lasted ten years. I heartily recommend this Strawberry slicer.

Perfect for what I needed it for

As soon as we removed this slicer from the packaging, we noticed dried food residue on it. So we returned it right away without ever using it. (It was obviously returned by someone else and re-packaged).It’s also a very cheaply-made and flimsy model, compared to what we have owned in the past. We understand why someone else would have returned it. We don’t recommend buying this one either!!

I only cut two strawberries and broke ð

The slicer does work, start by slowing pressing the slicer down, when it appears to have stuck then give it additional pressure with a little force to go the rest of the way through. may be fiddly pushing slices out.
