Works well
Our new receptionist has a lot of table space but not a lot of storage space. She asked me to order and I was thinking it would be tippy and poorly made. She put it together and it was engineered pretty well! Sturdy and no tippiness. Her desktop looks organized and uncluttered.

It came with two left panels and no rod. Really?
I had the parts set aside and was watching the video when I realised that I have two left panels and the bar is missing. It is too bad. This would be perfect for my home office, with a multi-function station for files, supplies and papers, but this is not going to work. I am going to return this one and get another one, and hopefully that one will work out. This is the first item from Amazon and/or Amazon Basics I have ever had problems with in all the years I have dealt with them.UPDATE: Returning the first unit was no problem, I received the replacement today. There was a left and right panel, a support bar, shelves and a drawer, but it is missing a screw that goes on the other side of the support bar. Come ON, Amazon Basics! It should not be this difficult to get a budget friendly light to moderate use multi-purpose filing system. Shame on you. It is too bad because from 2005 until now, I have never had a problem with Amazon and/or Amazon Basics. I hope this is an exception, not the new norm.

Great space saver
I needed a way to organize my projects I am currently working on. This organizer works great. The hanging file folder compartment helps me keep current files at my fingertips, while the shelves offer a place to put some loose paper or books.I love the drawer. plenty of space to store accessories like scissors, tape, a small stapler, etc.

Not good enough
Works good but is not sturdy enough, the drawer is too loose and the shelves don’t hold in the frame. The folder holders fall apart all the time.
