Bought this for my 1-year-old because he was starting to climb everything; couches, tables, possibly even planning an escape up the walls. Now heâs channeling that energy into this instead! Heâs slowly getting the hang of it, and I love that the size fits perfectly in our townhome. Great value, and most importantly, my furniture is finally catching a break

So Many Ways to Play
This toy was a perfect winter option while my little ones couldn’t go to the park. They were endlessly entertained with all the different ways to play. The kids rocked on the c piece or used it as a chair and made a tent with the ladder! It’s a great size for a 2 to 4 year old. Definitely not intended for older kids. We choose the colorful option since it was so adorable with the Bluey themed room!

POSITIVES:This toy will give toddlers and preschoolers important opportunity for development and play. Itâs well designed and sturdy.The oval interface of the dowels with their settings will prevent any rotation when kids are climbing.The ladder portion can be collapsed and stored.The arch can support the slide/rock wall plane or be inverted to rock. It can be covered with a blanket to form a cave.The price!DISSAPOINTMENTS:The supports are constructed from plywood with a relatively inexpensive veneer. An actual Montessori toy would be natural wood. The rungs ARE sturdy natural wood. But this compromise in materials is why this toy costs under $170 instead of twice as much for the real deal so thereâs that.This arch will need a padded cushion to make it suitable for sitting and rocking because the dowels themselves wonât be very comfortable.There are notched connections on only one end of the plank part. They really need to be placed on both ends so the plank canât move when kids are playing with it suspended on both the arch and the ladder.The plank is also quite narrow — just under 16â — so kids who want to climb up the ramp and turn around to slide down can very easily roll off the side. There should be rails to at least make them aware of the edge. These last 2 items arenât compromises that are worth cost savings. Charge a few dollars more and add these safety features, please! And, parents, be there to supervise and catch when toddlers are using this toy!ASSEMBLY:First of all, it must be noted Iâm a 76yo grandmother and I was able to do the assembly by myself with only the Allen wrench supplied.Itâs tough. Youâre fighting gravity until you get all the dowels in place and a screw at least bitten into the pilot holes. And without power tools itâs tough on the hands. But my 15mo granddaughter was happy with the arch and the slide so we could take our time to finish the ladder.I didnât focus on the instructions and got the arch assembled with the rungs intended for the ladder. DAMN! Consequently, the top of the ladder didnât fit until I disassembled the arch and portion of the ladder I had done wrong and switched the rungs out. My bad, but frustrating. DONâT MAKE THIS MISTAKE. The rungs are numbered so those following the instructions will avoid my error.I DIDNâT have the difficulty other reviewers reported with pieces that didnât fit, screws or Allen wrenches that stripped or drilled holes that didnât align. It could be that the manufacturer read and responded to earlier reviews. What I wish theyâd do now is provide an Allen wrench with a longer handle for better leverage on all those screws that need to be cranked in.What worked for me is to plan the placement of the colored rungs, place each in turn into the fitted hole, and tighten the screws just until they first bite into the pilot holes. That gave me enough clearance to set the subsequent rungs. Figuring this out made gravity my friend again and the rest went quickly enoughIâm VERY happy with the purchase and I have every reason to think my granddaughter will be enjoying it up through her preschool years.

This is worth every penny. Weâve had it 3 months and my kids play on it daily. The size is perfect for indoors. They are 4 and 18 months. Keeps them entertained for hours daily. The value is great! Would buy again so functional!

I got this for my son last year for Christmas who was 1 and a half at the time. He is now a year older and it has really held out nicely. With some moderately heavy usage, it is still in great shape and my son still enjoys!It stores away nicely and has been a fun addition to the family. The only negative is that it’s a pain to put together and I’m pretty sure it caused an argument between me and my husband last year.. so take that as you will

So much use!
The quality is so good! It is a bit heavy but expected for it being solid wood. Itâs super easy to put together and the kids thing itâs so fun to use as a slide! It doesnât store very easy but itâs not too big to just keep in the middle of a play room!

Measurements are wrong. Not 37.8 inches tall(Reality = about 26 inches tall)
Just know the picture on 2 of the 3 available options shows that the triangle should be 37.8 inches tall, but in reality it is around 26. While building it, it just seemed off. Grabbed the tape measure and measured around 26. Then went back to the listing to make sure I had picked the correct one and I had indeed picked the one that showed it being 37.8 inches tall. Having to return it since that was the whole reason for buying this one.
