Exactly what I wanted
Bought this umbrella during the off-season and just now set it up. Initial impression is very positive. So much better than the one I replaced. The ability to rotate and tilt the entire umbrella is similar to one I had 15 years ago and loved. The solar lights are a nice extra. I’m hoping the materials and build quality are good and this umbrella lasts for a number of years. Looking forward to a season of sitting on the deck and enjoying the shade.

Well made easy to operate, indispensable for summer in Texas. My only gripe is that the light inside is way to weak to be of practical use. They should put in a stronger light or not have it. As it is right now the lights are decorative.

Been going on 1 Year with this Umbrella and still going strong make sure you either get the weighted containers you can buy or weigh it down with sand bags

Received Broken Handle on the Umbrella and Clearly Damaged Crank Handle
It was as a great deal, on Prime Days, so I bought it knowing I would no be able to install it for a few weeks out. I received it on July 16th, and started installing it on August 3rd. I had 12 days left for the 30 return policy, and I’m really glad I didn’t wait another week or two to install it.When I got to step seven, it asks you to “squeeze the adjustment handle and move it upward to your desired position” (see pic)…I was not able to squeeze the handle as it was already fully compressed. The handle would just slide up and down and not lock in any position (see video). It is clearly and obviously broken. I also noticed the umbrella crank was scratched and apparently used previously, so I’m pretty certain I received an open box item, instead of a new one. I have contacted the seller, and shared this information, so we will see what happens. Everything else looked new, as it was mostly wrapped like new parts; however, as I re-evaluated the box after I had seen these issues, it did appear to me that this was a rewrapped product.Thus far, I’m rating this product a 1, until I receive a fully functional new umbrella portion and crank unit that has no issues. At that point, I will reevaluate the product, and I will evaluate their customer service at that time also. Let’s hope they address my issues like most of the good customer service reviews, and not like some of the bad ones. We will see…🤷‍♂️UPDATE:Best Choice products customer service contacted me within 48 hours, and after a lengthy conversation exchange over a day and a half over messaging, which was definitely a positive experience, they are sending me a new complete umbrella, and told me I did not have to send the broken umbrella back. Their customer service was very easy to deal with, as we communicated back and forth. It will take another week to get the umbrella, which is longer than I wanted, but not having to deal with sending the big and bulky package back, with the broken one in it, makes it hassle free, and makes up for the delay. Customer Service gets a 5 star, but judgement is still out on the product itself. I’ll report back on the product, after I get it installed and working. Upgraded to 4 stars, because of excellent customer service. Potential to be 5, if the product functions well. Stay tuned…
