This is a really, really cute playset!
I am giving this item 5 stars for several reasons, the most important being the play value for the cost. This was given as a gift to a household with 2 toddler aged children ranging 3-5 and both enjoy playing with it together and/or separately. It comes with a lot of play food items so it can be fully stocked and ready to play with once it’s assembled. I see other reviews noting the assembly had challenges but that was not our experience – it was fairly easy to put together and everything fit smoothly. The size is also great for play areas that don’t have a lot of space – it can sit nicely against a wall or in a corner with room to play “behind the counter” still. If you’re on the fence, hope this review helps. We think it’s great for the price!

Solid product. As described. DIFFICULT TO ASSEMBLE
This product is as described and made of wood. Quality is great. Instructions for setup and lack of labeling on hardware are why it lost a star. The directions and online videos were still difficult to follow. I needed to utilize two of my own screws at one point as none of the provided fit along the bottom. We had to put pieces together and disassemble and reassemble parts twice. Time consuming. Overall product is great once you get past the construction.

Bought this little wooden grocery store for my 5 year old for Xmas this year and omg it’s honestly the best money I’ve ever spent!The assembly was pretty easy& instructions were clear, but some parts may be easier with 2 people. Just a reminder, The store only comes with the wax fruits and vegetables you see up front from my video. 4 peppers, 4 eggplants, 4 tomatoes, 4 apples, 4 oranges & 4 bananas. The rest of the foods plus the basket and cart i bought separately. It comes with one cloth shopping bag that hangs on the side of the store by a couple of knobs which the instructions actually weren’t clear about where the knobs go and what they were for but we figured it out eventually.It’s got a working, crank style Conveyer belt, a chalk board sign you can write on, Credit card Machine, cash register that opens with little wooden coins inside + scanner. There are no sounds. The construction of this store is super solid & durable. All hardware is included, however, I highly suggest using a regular sized Philips screw driver To assemble, because the little tiny one they give you is cheap and way too tiny to be efficient. That definitely sped up the assembly for us!My only complaint on this whole thing was that the cash register doesn’t really have a clear place to be kept so it’s really about what your preference is. however, keeping it on the counter top without sliding off is tricky bc it doesn’t stay put, it just slides around. So we used 4 long strips of 3-m double sided tape to secure it down on the counter top- which was SUPER effective! Highly suggest doing this!My 5 year old is pretty average sized and this little store was absolutely the perfect fit for him! He loves it so much and so do I!!
