WHAT TO KNOW
Each strand is 27 feet long with 12 S14 bulbs spaced 20 inches apart (the lighted portion is 20 feet).
There is 6 feet of space between the solar panel and the first light, and an additional 3 feet at the other end to secure the strand.
We recommend using a guide wire as the sturdiest way to hang the strands, but you can also use zip ties or hooks to hold the main wire in place.
THE DETAILS
These strands include 12 S14 shaped LED bulbs. They have a color temperature of 3000k soft white, and shine brightly, but not too harshly, at 1 watt per bulb.
The LED’s are wrapped in a layer of silicon for protection and also encased in durable plastic bulb covers to provide as much protection to the lights as possible.
EASY TO INSTALL, EASY TO USE
Set up is very easy, just hang the lights as desired, in canopied formations or straight across the space. Attach and set the panel somewhere it will get lots of sun, using either the clamp or stake to position it (both are included).
The panel needs about 6 hours of sun for a full charge, and the switch needs to be in the on position while charging, but once fully charged, it will power your strand to shine for at least 6 hours after sundown.
The photocell in the panel will turn the strand on automatically so that there’s no additional work necessary after your initial setup.

Solid quality light string and panel.
I bought the 48 ft Super Bright 4-watt light set that would cover my arbor. I liked how the 4-watt panel looked much larger on this version than other options, and indeed it is. Everything arrived secure and intact with all lights working. The first thing I did was to take apart the panel for a peek inside. I was delighted to find that the two lithium batteries are in a holder, not soldered, making them very easy to replace. The batteries are Great Power brand listed as 2000 mAh, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that they tested at 2064 and 2075 mAh giving a starting capacity of over 4W along with being very easy to replace when needed. The bulbs are S14 with removable globes which makes replacing filaments easy. An extra filament is included though I haven’t found a source of similar filaments should more be needed. The batteries, being fully charged upon install, powered the string all night. But, in succeeding nights with short winter days and cloudy skies, the lights failed after a little over 5 hours on the dimmest setting. Following a sunny winter day, the lights stayed on all night, again on the dimmest setting. The included remote works great and makes it easy to set the light intensity level. On the dimmest setting the lights do provide nice, subdued lighting but probably less that a bright full moon, but that does make quite a difference on dark nights. Higher intensity levels give more light but for a shorter duration. This is for the 4W Super Bright version. The panel for the standard versions looks smaller and might provide less intense light or a shorter duration. The panel for the 7W Super Bright version looks to be the same as the 4W version, and my guess is that they install two 3500 mAh batteries (which probably aren’t when put to the test.) The 7W Super Bright 106-foot version does seem to be the better deal with twice as many bulbs and bigger batteries for less than twice the price. In retrospect, I wish I had gotten that version instead. In summary, the panel is great, the batteries are solid, the lights and wiring are all of good quality with no defects. If you are planning on stringing lights across a wide gap, go to the hardware store and buy 1/8th inch steel cable and install to support the string. Though the wires are good quality, they are not meant to take the long-term stress of supporting themselves over a large gap.3-month update: Been using them consistently and still like them a lot. Everything works as designed. I do often see moisture in the light covers that comes and goes but hasn’t caused a problem. The lights run consistently all night now that the days are longer and the nights shorter. One thing that I would like to see different is that the lights always come on at full brightness rather than keeping the intensity setting that I choose. A couple of times they came on in the mode where they would slowly brighten and dim continuously. So, an improvement would be for the lights to reliably keep the user setting. Other than that, they have been great.

These are awesome. I’ve been wanting lights on our backyard pergola for so long, but something else always edges this guy out, in terms of what we want to purchase next. But I’ve been working a lot in our backyard the past few weeks, making it more inviting, so I just pulled the trigger and got them. Now I’m kind of mad at myself for not getting them sooner.They are soo easy to use and put up (my 13 year old son did it without any issues), and they look great. And they work great! The remote is a nice touch (vs. Like a button on the string, or solar panel you have to push or something). The on/off and different light color settings. We’re adding a piece of velcro to the back and keeping it in a cabinet, so we always know where it is.We’ve had no issues with it charging or working in both wet and dry conditions. They are just the right size. Pictures don’t so them justice. I love them.

Highly Recommended
These lights are great! They are easy to install. We put ours on a fence around our backyard. They come with a clip that makes it super simple. The lights are much brighter than you’d think for solar and you can brighten them even more with the included remote. What’s also very cool is that you can turn them off at night with the remote if you want to do so. Just remember to click the remote to the ON position the next morning so the lights will automatically come back on at night. They are made of a good quality plastic so there are no worries about the bulbs breaking.

Very nice. The long string is actually two separate strings that don’t connect together.
Very nice and bright lights from these solar lights. I probably wasn’t paying attention but there are two strings of lights. Both connect to the solar panel base so don’t count on one long string. Having two sets of lights worked great for our purposes. Just set them up so don’t know how long they will last but they were still shining this morning when I got out of bed and the solar panel does not have access to full sun all day long. Really impressed by how bright they are for lighting up our outdoor play area.

Peace of mind!
Great quality and peace of mind. Charge by sunlight and turn on every night. We decided to try these inside our house in case of power outages and to save on electric bill. I placed the solar panel on a clip and clipped it onto curtain rod facing window. After that we used staple gun and started from window around the room placing at top of ceiling. It looks great. Every night as it gets dark they pop on. It gives a soft Amber glow. Great for all seasons and free light. We have ordered a string for each bedroom. You can take them camping or out on patio. Weatherproof and lightbulbs are a tough plastic. Worth the buy and peace of mind in today’s world. Rolling black outs, saving on electric, or bug out tote.

Easy to install, looks great, multiple choices for installation for the sensor.
I bought this set of lights to replace some that go across the end of the house, due to the fact that I broke one while trimming the yard. Yard. These went up very quickly and work extremely well. Probably should have got the longer set, but I’ve been able to repair the old set so this’ll work fine for now.

solar lights
worked perfect for what i needed great camping lights. for the price it was worth the money all lights worked. i did get it with the 6ft extension cable and it was perfect for lighting up a 10×15 canopy. would have been nice to have a remote to turn on and off but it wasn’t that bad to reach up and switch off. on a full charge the lights stay on all night and turn off when first light hits the solar panel. bulb covers are pretty tuff and the lighting is a relaxing soft glow to wind down the night.

price and quality
BE AWARE if you are using different lengths together. Product is good however, I purchased a strand that was 25′ and then one that was 48′. The distance between the lights is different, and so are the filaments. So installed in a row they are noticeably different. 25′ on the left is brighter but hard to tell in this pic.

The lights look great and seem high quality while they stay on. Unfortunately they just donât stay on for long enough, lasting only an hour or two – even after many hours of sunshine in the day. I have two sets, the other one seems to perform a little better so maybe inconsistent manufacturing quality. Donât recommend the higher w and higher priced unit at all.

I have these up on a big tree which doesnât allow a lot of light on the solar panel yet it does a decent job of keeping the lights lit throughout the night. Wouldâve been happier if the lights themselves were more warm in colour.
