Great for Calming Anxiety
This was bought as a replacement for a previous one that was dropped and broken. This second order originally came without the remote but I contacted support and they shipped a whole new box (with the remote this time!) and I received it within a couple days. Great company. My daughter loves watching the jellyfish dip up and down to calm her anxiety. So she was sad when she dropped it during a furniture move in her room. This unit does not leak, has soft colors that are perfect brightness in a dark room but can be seen in a bright room as well. Had the first one for a few years and only needed to change the water a few times. Great little aquarium for those of us that want to see jellyfish moving but canât have a big round aquarium for real ones. Make sure you add the couple drops of dish soap so they donât get stuck in the bottom. This thing is really cool!

The lamp is nice, not too bright so it can be left on all night long. The motor is pretty quiet. The fish are hard plastic so they make a bit of noise when they hit the walls of the aquarium which can be a bit annoying if the room is quiet, but one can get used to it or just take the fish out. The jelly fish look great.

This is a great lil investment. I find it relaxing to watch while going to sleep. The colors are bright & very pretty. The jelly fish I got with mine have florescent yellow & pink markings which I love. This would make a great gift for kids & adults alike & takes up very little space. Very simple to use, just fill to desired water level & plugin & turn it on, just that simple. I do suggest placing the jelly fish in top first as it eliminates air build up in the fish & they move better, when the head is filled with water. I would recommend this to anyone who loves a fish tank but doesn’t have the room for one or just because you want something not everyone would have.

This was a gift. The jellyfish are cute and they ‘swim’ around nice. There is instructions included to get them to swim properly, which worked for me. So there is a little bit of a process before yoy can enjoy it. It was really also really quiet for the first few days, but after that the motor would kick on periodically. Loud enough to notice, but still worth it if you want a nice desk or bedside table ornament!

My elementary students love this jellyfish lava lamp. I have this setup in my reading station and it is visually appealing. At first my younger students thought the fish were real as well as the occasional visitor in our classroom. It is definitely worth the price. Would be good as a night lamp too. Item was well packaged and seller was very quick to respond with questions.

Honestly this thing is pretty nice for what it is – looks pretty and the ‘action’ is interesting. The little jellyfish are kind of interesting to watch – could benefit from some ambient flora! Two small issues – the noise from the machine is a bit loud and can be annoying as it cycles on and off. Also the ‘base’ of the assembly is open to the mechanics inside, looks unsightly.
