Great Intro book to get into investing
I had read Bola’s first book during the pandemic, in the middle of my college years, to get a better understanding of personal finances. This year I got my first big girl job and and I bought this book to better understand investing because I have mastered saving and managing credit cards, which is what the first book mainly taught me. After reading this I will say: I took a lot of notes and I now feel more confident in understanding what investing actual is, how to do it the right way and what popular methods exist. I feel like this is a book anyone can understand and it build the foundation for investing.

Good Financial Overview Book
Really good financial overview book. I consider myself intermediate in terms of my financial knowledge and this book is definitely tailored towards beginners, however it was not so basic that someone like me wouldn’t find it insightful. It’s also well-written and an easy read. I would recommend as an intro book for someone looking to get a solid footing on their finances.

Easy to Understand
This was a quick read and very easy to understand. A lot of finance and investing books can be intimidating but this book was easy to follow. It had practical everyday examples and explanations. The book is also written from the perspective of someone who had to address their debt, transition into building wealth, and plan for long term goals. This made the book very relatable and applicable. I highly recommend.

Every woman should read this book – unless youâre already familiar with finance, and even then, Iâm sure this book will augment what you already know. According to this author, women make better investment decisions (esp in the stock market), yet so few of us actually participate. This book assumes you know nothing and explains everything in a concise manner. It also offers practical tips, insight, motivation and a breadth of knowledge that every woman (and man) should know, yet so few of us actually do! Whether youâre just starting, curious/learning or have financial goals in mind, etc his book is a fantastic start. Iâd like to give copies to so many female friends I know that all want to invest, but are too intimated to start.
