I have POTS so these are life savers! U can always find water even if u have to use ur sweat ….lol be careful though it says to ring it out and whip it to activate it but when I whipped it it ripped obviously you don’t want to whip it that good….lol

Love the original one
This is one of the best things Iâve bought in the past 8 years! However, Iâve bought other ones (different colors) and seems like they were stiffer than my original yellow one.I read the negative reviews – yes, you could say they feel âslimyâ but I prefer to say itâs a cool buttery feeling â but keeps me cool so thatâs what matters.Yes, the color fades, and it can start to look old and beat up â but understand this is not a fashion accessory, people â this is blessed relief from the heat! (I live in the desert where we have 115 degree days). Iâm not concerned that it doesnât stay âpretty.âAnd yes – they dry very stiff – almost like cardboard – but honestly, who cares. And just understand that you arenât going to be storing it in the original tube it came in, anyway. It will never be able to go in there dry – and if you put it on damp it will mildew. So just throw away the container, or recycle it. Wash and rinse the chilly pad and hang it in the bathroom or garage.Iâve lived in a couple of deserts (Mojave and also in the Middle East) and itâs been a lifesaver.Plus now â since Iâm at the time of life Iâm experiencing hot flashes, especially at night, I go to bed clutching my damp, cool chilly pad. In the middle of the night, if Iâm too hot, Iâll throw the covers off and drape it over my neck – or my legs- or my shoulders – and pretty soon Iâm chilly enough to put the covers back on.I LOVE THIS PRODUCT- I just hope this next one I buy is of the same quality as the original.Really – give it a try and donât let people re-route you to another âfabulousâ product because I try them all and this is still the best!

Like instant air conditioning
These towels are cold to the touch right out of the package. They are not simply a wet towel, they are a spongy material like a car drying chamois but as soon theyâre wet they are cold and feel great. Kept me cool and more comfortable on a long hike in Arizona’s high heat. They dry out after a while but keeping them wet and shaking them out works awesome and really helped me stay cool. Wear around your neckOr drape over your head for a nice cooling effect and blocks out the sun too.

This towel absolutely saved me in the Las Vegas heat! I wore it around my neck which is surprisingly cooling and it stayed wet feeling for at least a few hours before Iâd run it under a sink again. It doesnât really feel like a towel, itâs a little rubbery? but I think it almost looks like youâre wearing a scarf â so pick a color thatâll look nice near your face. In the future Iâm going to use this when Iâm doing yard work on hot days. If I travel somewhere hot I might get a few more in different colors. I definitely recommend.

Stays COLD no matter how hot the weather!
This is by far the best cooling towel ever. It stays cold as long as it’s moist. If the day is super hot (100+), it may dry off a little, so just moisten it up with fresh water and it will remain cold and cool your neck or any part you desire to cool down. It is super absorbent and there’s no funny smell at all as long as it is washed with soapy water after each use. I highly recommend it for all ages!

Always great
I love these towels! They help cool you down so well. Just wet, ring out, and wrap around your neck. Or drape on your head. When they fully dry out, they become really stiff, so fold up when not fully dried out, otherwise you can crack it. We use them when camping, hiking, doing yard work, and sports practices. We live in a place it always passes 110*F in the summer, our âFroggy towelsâ are a go-to for us.

Not for moderate or high humidity
This didn’t work for us, but under the right circumstances, it could. I tested this out in my 77-ish degree home, and in the AC, it most definitely stayed cold. Okay, cool. Well, we used it outside in 57-65% humidity and (Missouri) in the shade in 86-90 degree heat, and it really didn’t stay cool at all, even with frequent turning. The fabric, if you want to call it that, is pretty uncomfortable to have on your body, as well. I recall a review that said it’s like wearing a yoga mat, and honestly, that’s not a terrible comparison. It’s like a thinner/more malleable wet yoga mat. My husband has become really intolerant of heat, andI knew it wasn’t supposed to help with “high” humidity–but I wasn’t sure what that line was. I provided the humidity levels and temperature here to help you decide if it may work for you. If you’re looking to use it somewhere in the caribbean, for instance, it won’t work at all. Using it in Nevada? Maybe.
