Excellent Product | Way Brighter Than I Expected
The 15 degree optic on this is no joke. I’m going to also get the 36 degree optic. It can absolutely throw enough light through an umbrella to light you up with the sun at your back at golden hour, as you can see in the attached image. I also used it in the studio for stills with a rear-facing umbrella and it performed admirably. It also illuminated my B-Roll shots really well for my You Tube channel.The only downside you might need to consider is the extra cost of a v mount battery if you don’t intend to have this always plugged in. There’s no internal battery on it so it always needs a power source of some kind. If you are considering these for a You Tube studio, they are perfect for that. I was initially concerned that the power output dropped to like 40% with a battery, but in the example I shared where I am talking to the camera, I’m not kidding when I say the power output of the light is only at 4%. Going up to 10% would completely wash my face out, so there are no issues with power. And because it uses an optic to magnify the power, it doesn’t get very hot.The operation of this little is really easy and it integrates into the Godox Light app with little to no effort.Definitely recommend.

Great light, bright, my only gripe is that the mounting bracket is so flushed, none of my modifiers fit on it

Game changer
This small light is a beast! with the 15 degree reflector it is strong enough to light a speech giver from about 25-30 feet away on just about 40% power. paired with a v mount battery and you have a power house that will last long enough for just about any event. (use for wedding receptions)

Nice and Powerful!
Godox has been a serious company in the light space for a few years now, and I can see why. These light really good! They are small and portable, so they are easy to fit in my bag with the rest of my gear. They are quite powerful for their size as well. I am using these on smaller gigs as the key light for one person interviews. My kit size is shrinking because of tech like this and that is perfect as I am a one man band. The bluetooth app works well, which is more than I can say for many companies. The app can be a afterthought with other brands and hat can ruin the whole experience.

SUPER BRIGHT!!
I love that it’s low profile, and powerful! Does bright white, and golden hour. Has a dozen effects that can be adjusted in slight small increments which is fantastic! 5/5!
