Update: the hammock itself was very tight and rigid when new. After two nights, it had relaxed a lot. Found out because initially I pushed a printer underneath to save space. My butt was resting on the printer after two nights. I am only 135.For the past year I noticed that I can’t get comfortable in a flat bed any more. I mean a standard bed, not the type for transport. I was more comfortable sleeping in a bean bag in my Suburban camper. When it got really hot, I set up a child size hammock inside and love the all around air flow. At home, I moved to a light weight Ikea sofa but it was too narrow. After doing some research, I decided to go for a stand alone hammock. Picked this one because it is portable with the most simple design. I don’t plan to move it around, but I always go for things that are compact and portable so that I can handle them more easily.Setting it up was easy. Tonight is the first night of sleep. So far I am very comfortable. My 23 lbs dog is underneath the hammock in a bed. My 8 lbs dog is in the hammock near my feet. Got several evaporative coolers pointing at us, two downstairs, two upstairs. I am content.

Decent Camping Hammock
We bought the this in anticipation of the coming camping season! We opened it in the house to test it and enjoyed it. The material isn’t the most comfortable but it will be good for outdoor use. It’s good quality and big enough to hold one person.

Easier to set up
Bought this for my wife for our RV. Had a different style but was extremely hard to set up and a finger pincher. This sets up a lot easier and faster. No pinched fingers. She can set up herself which is big win for me. Looks a little more flimsy but time will tell how long it lasts

Great, lightweight hammock for the beach!
My wife and I go to the beach most weekends and we’ve been bring some form of self-supported hammock for years. Given the salt and sand they don’t last forever so I was excited to see this hammock for a great price. We’ve had our first couple outings and it’s working great!The hammock stand is lightweight and folds up pretty compact. Setting it up can be a little bit of a chore as it uses pins through the leg sliders to hold it in the correct ‘expanded’ position where as our previous hammocks had a stopper. Apart from having to fumble a little with the pins the rest of the setup is simple. The hammock itself is pretty stable. It’s not going to wrap around you like a full-size regular cloth hammock but it does hug your body more than I was expecting from the pictures.Aside from the assemble ‘pins’ the other thing we miss is that our previous foldable hammocks came with a small pillow. It’s not a big deal as you can just use a towel but worth mentioning.All-in-all this hammock is an incredible value. It’s lightweight and easy to transport. Assembly isn’t too bad once you get the hang of the pins. And it’s as comfortable as you would expect from this style of self-contained collapsible hammock.
