Great Sound for a Great Price
Iâm Floored!!!!! Such big sound for such a small price!!I needed something small, but I wanted a halfway decent sound. I got way more than I bargained for. This little gem packs a whallop. I read some reviewers complaints that there was no adjustment to sound equalization but downloading the easy to use JBL app gave me that option. Clearly, at this price point, I am not going to get perfect sound but the quality that comes out of this little baby is sweet. JBL provides preset options for vocal or energetic or chill or JBL signature settings. Donât like the settings? Choose their custom option and play around till you get the sound that you want.I tried a little vocal simplicity with a Gino Vannelli solo and hopped over to pure rock with a Prince/Tom Petty tribute to George Harrison. The vocal solo was a little more pure, but the speaker handled energetic rock really well.My husband came in and heard this and immediately asked if I would grab one for him as well. Since Iâm going to buy another one for myself, I guess Iâll get one for him, too. Maybe we will sync all three and have ourselves a little concert!

Solid, great functions, audio decent for size/price/waterproofing
I bought this while it was on sale for $40. There’s some muddiness for those picky (usually me), but it’s expected for something waterproof, portable size, and price point (wouldn’t want to risk a more expensive speaker anyway). Still, it’s worth it to have something that’s easy to use and safe to have in the bathroom while showering with output that’s powerful enough to transfer well. I’ll sometimes also just leave my phone upstairs while doing things downstairs and bring the speaker along. There’s no drop or delay in the audio, so the range and signal strength are both good.This is too new for me to comment on how long the battery lasts long-term, but it’s been good for periodic usage; it’s nice that it’ll turn itself off after 10 minutes of idle time and charges quickly.Getting it connected takes less than a minute, though the optional app lets you customize the equalizer and see more information about it. I love that I can just turn it on and have the audio transfer over without any fuss. The buttons on top are also easy to distinguish, and the side buttons slightly divot in and will push in, so they’re easy to distinguish in the dark too. Very thoughtful functions all around and solid build quality (I’ve already dropped it once on a hard floor without issue), especially at this price.

Big things small packages
I love these little speakers. They punch well above their weight. Between the volume and the bass, they sound about twice as large as they actually are. Battery life is great as well. If you just like to listen to a podcast, the app offers an option for battery saving mode, which will extend the life of your battery even further. These little things seem indestructible. The Bluetooth connection is stable and I feel like I can stay connected pretty much anywhere in the house. I liked it so much that I bought a second one. When you have more than one connected at a time, they sync up extremely well. There doesnât appear to be any audio lag at all.. you can walk from one room into the other and not even notice a difference in timing. I think this is probably the best small speaker for your money.

Impressive, but…..
Love the sound quality and volume for such a small speaker ð. I bought the clip5 with it to pair the two. I ride an electric scooter as much as possible as a alternative to my car and I can hear my music no problem..even at 45mph. My only gripes are the app isn’t very good and getting both to connect with each other takes some patience, should be as easy as they make it out to be. When they’re both connected it’s like a little surround sound home theater. These little guys pack a good punch!

Bang for buck. Quality sound in a compact easy to use speaker
Tiny, weighty but in a good way, came with a charge, and super easy to connect and play right outta the box. Downloaded the app and got more information and functionality. Left my phone in two rooms away and took this into an enclosed shower and didnât lose connection. Great loud sound for such a small thing. Iâm in a beige and navy color mood this summer so this matches all my aesthetic for the season. Seems easy to connect multiple together so I want another just so I can play. Definitely recommend

A little flawed, but good for the price.
It’s JBL, so you already know it sounds good. Some people complained about it being too quiet, mine is very loud even with a preamp set to -2db. Decent battery, solidly built, feels good to carry around – but it’s got a few problems.-The cloth covering wasn’t completely glued down in one spot. I was able to sort of push it back into the shell, and it seems okay for now, but I might have to superglue it down later.- The notification sounds don’t scale with volume, and they’re bizarrely loud. The ‘power down’ sound is particularly annoying and always scares my cat.- Bass makes it vibrate pretty badly with the volume up, to the point where it physically slides across flat surfaces when standing upright. If you don’t prop it against something, it could easily fall off a table.- As with all JBL products, the charging cable is very short (only 1ft) so you will need another USBC cable in most cases.All in all I’m still willing to give it 4 stars since it does sound good for the price, but I hope they make some improvements if they make a GO5.

Sound defies its size. Built to a high quality standard.
I have had some other small JBL Bluetooth speakers before and was excited to buy this one after reading many very positive reviews.I concur with these reviews. The build quality and sound quality are excellent. Itâs a small speaker that defies its size, sounding much better than its size or price would suggest.I take it with me when travelling and keep it in a small bag complete with various charging cables and power adapters. Itâs UBS C charged like so many devices today which means less cable varieties to lack.Great for traveling given its size and sound quality.

Glad I waited until the Go 4 before I took the plunge because I’m thoroughly impressed by this little speaker. As a single speaker it punches above its weight class, I’d rate it 4/5 but once I got a second it really became a hit. The trick lies with stereo pair that REMEMBERS when you turn them off and on (need to setup in app first time only). Persistent stereo pair is a feature added in the latest firmware update so it shows they support their products.I sold my 2 Bose SoundLink Flex due to how annoying it was to pair with each other and these speakers take all the pain points away. Definitely recommend 2 if you want to kick it up a notch; no deep bass like the Bose but a pleasant listening experience in stereo. I’m not hosting house parties anyway.Speaker is very light and durable so no excuse not to pack at least one on trips. Tested good range with BT 5.3, decent battery life and looks stylish to boot. Pick up one or two when on sale and enjoy.

Sinceramente esperaba que no sonara del todo bien como otras bocinas de la misma marca pero más caras, y salà sorprendido, muestra un sonido muy bueno y envolvente, los bajos son buenos en un nivel moderado de volumen, cuando subes el volumen a más del 90 y 80 porciento los bajos se pierden un poco, aunque tiene una razón de ser, y es para no perder calidad de sonido, lo cual me parece bien, no distorsiona y además su alcance con el Bluetooth 5.3 es demasiado bueno, una buena compra, la verdad

I totally agree with all the 5 star reviews for this little gem of a speaker from JBL. You won’t believe the sound coming out of something this small and light (6.7 oz). I think what stuck me the most was the pleasant tone and clarity of sound. It will not have deep bass like a larger speaker (physics of size), but what it does accomplish is amazing for it’s size. Attractively styled in several fun colors and feels solid and well made. The silicone covers are slightly grippy and holds it in place upright or laying on it’s back. Controls all work well. Battery life depends on volume and music type (bass heavy), but for light to medium volumes it will last 7-10 hours. Download the JBL app to get the most out of your Go 4 and easily allows stereo pairing (must be same model), EQ adjustment (I prefer the JBL signature sound), Auracast (mono signal though other JBL speakers at the same time with same feature) and battery level (app display only) to nearest 10%. Charges quick and cool with USB-C. I’m delighted with the sound in a Stereo pair. Audio latency is minimal and reasonable for dialogue too. As with all speakers, allow some time for break in and further sound improvement, but it is pretty good out of the box.An excellent fun great sounding product of which you’ll want more :-)Happy Listening!**Caveat: You need a newer source device with the more recent Blue Tooth and Codecs to make it sound it’s best. Older Android phones only have SBC codec (the most basic) which sounds dreadful and not the speaker’s fault. I compared an older Samsung S8 to a recent S23 and the sound difference is dramatic in all aspects. Older apple devices may have better codec capabilities (?).

TenÃa mis dudas pero la verdad valió la pena es muy buena para su tamaño, tiene los bajos presentes sin perder calidad en agudos y medios, yo la ocupe a todo volumen y no tuve distorsión sacandola de la caja tenÃa el 60% de pila y con ese 60% me duró un lapso de 6 horas, 1hora a todo volumen y las otras 5horas la ocupe en un volumen al 70% con la aplicación tienes las funciones del ecualizador a tu gusto y por ahorita no he usado el modo playtime buds solo note que con el modo activo aumentan los agudos y medios, me supongo que para el ahorro de baterÃa desactiva el ecualizador en lo personal la recomiendo ampliamente por su tamaño práctico, sus materiales diseño elegante y por su buen sonido apesar de su tamaño.
