I recently purchased this wireless lapel microphone, and it has completely transformed my audio quality for videos, podcasts, and Zoom calls! The setup was incredibly easy—just plug the receiver into my phone (it also works with cameras and computers), clip on the mic, and I was ready to go. No complicated pairing or Bluetooth issues.The sound quality is crisp and clear, with minimal background noise thanks to the noise reduction feature. This kit makes such a huge difference that it’s really a no-brainer. You receive two transmitting microphones, one USB-C receiver, a charging case, and two wind noise screens.Without a mike, voice pickup on a smartphone vlog is poor even if you’re only a couple of feet away from the screen. Voice sounds recessed and thin, and it tends to merge with surrounding ambient sounds. Clipping one of these leveller mikes to your lapel while you speak to the camera transforms the audio into something much richer, with a far broader tonal range and much greater presence and definition. The noise cancelling does a surprisingly good job of filtering out extraneous sounds, too. For outdoor recording I’m delighted to see that dead rats (aka dead cat, muffler, or wind screen) are included with the kit too. I suggest using them always. Range is fantastic, and these transit fine even if the presenter is far away from the camera, and a spec on the screen!Apart from vlogging purposes, these mikes are great for video conferencing and making telephone calls. If you do much hands-free telephoning in your car, you’ll know that the microphones mounted at the top the windscreen often struggle a bit to pick up and differentiate your voice. One of these lavaliers attached to your chest can do a much better job. The range is at least 50 feet – more than enough if you are being filmed!The storage case contains a battery, as do the mikes, and can recharge the mikes when they are inside. Cumulatively it gives you a huge amount of usage time on the fly. Individually, these mikes give me roughly three hours of recording time each, before needing to be charged.One thing to be aware of is that the receiver – which plugs into the bottom of your smartphone – has a USB-C plug, as is now standard on most devices. If you have an older phone, check first that it’s compatible. USB-C sockets are a symmetrical slot with rounded ends. This device comes supplied with a USB-C to Apple adaptor, for your iPhone or iPad. You could also add your own adaptor to get you from USB-C to mini USB or whatever you need.

Microphone set is truly impressive. It comes with a compact hard case that zips up, Inside the charging case, you’ll find two microphones and a receiver that connects to your phone’s USB port. It didn’t take long to set up maybe 3 minutes. Very simple to use so I would highly recommend them.

Such a great product. The packaging was top notch, and while not the most important aspect, still speaks to the overall quality these guys put into their product. The mics themselves, and the accessories included are also top notch and great quality. They are super easy to pair to an iPhone, the dead cats are easily removeable and ‘click’ on, so they don’t come off easily, but also come off without much effort. Other lavaliers we have tried (around the same price) were no where near the quality these are, starting with the dead cats. The cheaper ones the dead cats really didn’t fit well, and were either to hard to get on and off, or always fell off. Garbage, but no these. The others really lacked sound quality as well, sounding far away and overall bad quality recordings. These sound crisp, and very clear. Anything loud isn’t distorted like the other cheaper ones, and if something was quiet, the others wouldn’t even pick it up, while these picked it up fine, it was just quiet, as a good microphone should be. The case holds everything nicely and is well designed, it also serves as a charging case, and has a built in battery to charge your mics when out or on the road. The recahrgeable mics last a long time, they advertise up to 6 hours which has been pretty accurate (and possibly conservative). The noise cancellation also works as advertised. This really is a great product and has been built with high quality, anybody recording for Instagram or other platforms, will be very happy with this set.
