A year later, and still getting compliments on this mic sound and quality
After doing plenty of research on the variety of dynamic xlr microphones, I kept coming back to the Maono PD200X. Not only is the price point very competitive, but it has the option for USB, and XLR. My first few months of using this mic was through USB, and was told over and over by other gamers I have met that my voice was coming through so clear, and they would ask how that was so. Most people expected me to say it was a $400 mic, but when I told them it was not even 1/6th the price they couldn’t believe me. The mic and app were so easy to setup right out of the box, and it comes with a boom arm that clamps to your desk to free up space. As a new streamer, every inch of desk space matters so this was a plus for me. Since, I have swapped from USB to XLR as my new setup required it for my dual pc setup. And to add, the mic has some rgb, which lets be honest, is always a plus if your on camera. It has a convenient knob that’s easy to access for adjusting your volume and mute with a single press, and it turns red when your muted, so no second guessing, and green when your mic is active. I don’t usually leave reviews for products but I’ve had this mic for over a year now with daily use and have yet to encounter any issues, and still get compliments on the sound quality from both gamers, streamers, and viewers. If your looking to ditch the headset mic, and get a real mic that competes with the high end, but it priced on the lower end side, this is the mic for you.

This company is amazing! My shock mount had snapped and i decided to take a shot and email their customer service. They responded immediately and helped me get a replacement for no cost at all. Forever grateful and forever will be buying products from this company. Microphone is great and an absolute steal for the price it is. Very clear and good for gaming and podcasting.

best quality at this price point
great quality for the price. i don’t even have to adjust anything in post! 99% of people will not be able to tell this from a $500 mic.

Apart from the awesome audio quality Maono has great customer support, Had a software issue which rendered my mic not connecting to my laptop but when I reached out to the customer service team they were very helpful responding within 12hrs and provided me with the software that solved the issue in 1click and my mic started working perfectly fine after that.Highly recommended

I am pleasantly surprised at how good this mic kit is, especially for the very reasonable price. I’ve had very expensive mics before, and this one does almost as good a job, but at a fraction of the price. Definitely a good deal.

I bought this for a podcast I was appearing on and to make some videos. I didn’t wasn’t to spend much and had read positive reviews.It was very easy to set up and my laptop recognised the microphone immediately. There is a companion app that allows you to change settings which is very easy to do. It could have better instructions as to what each setting did, but I managed to work it out.I was able to get very clear sound with it with very little “hiss” that I have had with other microphones. It offers exceptional value for money.The build quality seems good as well.
