I have had a battery powered fan that I take with me on camping trips in the summer but I’ll be honest, it could never really keep up with the heat and it’s a huge pain to constantly have to replace the C batteries. I didn’t realize what a pain in the butt my old fan was until I tried this one!This one is $55.99 at the time of this review, and considering all of the features that are packed into this compact little thing, I think it’s a fantastic value. The fan nests inside the bucket that is used to hold the water and the bucket has a carrying strap to make it super portable. You don’t need to use the fan with the bucket at all though because it has a hang hook on the bottom of it so you can use the fan by itself without using the misting function. If you do want to use the misting function, you attach the rubber hoses, fill up the bucket with water, and set the fan on top of the bucket. When you turn on the missing function, there are four little ports in the center of the fan that shoot out a fine spray of water. It really does make a huge difference on a super hot day! You can use either the touch button controls on the fan itself, or the included remote controller (which sits inside a nice little recessed holding area when not in use) to control all of the functions, including the fan speed, amount of mist, and even the intensity and color of the light. The fan is rechargeable and has fantastic battery life. I’m absolutely in love with this thing and would definitely recommend it!

I am so impressed with this misting cooling fan. It is so well designed and quality constructed. The infinite speed control works perfectly. Two misting settings using 2 or 4 jets at a time. Built in light with color control. Built in battery gauge which is permanently displayed when the fan is turned on. Timer for preset turnoff when needed. Large water reservoir for hours of continuous use. Long lasting built in rechargeable battery. Remote control holder at the back of the fan. And best of all, every feature works perfectly with the remote control including rotation which allows you to stop the rotation at the exact point of maximum air orientation. I highly recommend this fan.

this product is a great idea from the minds of people who know what they are doing and what people are looking for. particularly, people like me who like to go outdoors for activities like camping and fishing, but also just hanging out in the backyard and being lazy. on hot summer days in alberta, a misting fan like this is heaven-sent.the ODOLAND portable misting fan has 30000mAh rechargeable battery that ensures you have power to last 10hrs at full blast according to the ad. that’s perfect for a good night’s sleep on a hot summer night. or entire day lounging on an anti-gravity chair with the misting function helping you to cool down even more. the bucket can take 6 liters of water so more than enough to keep the mist going. the misting feature does work, and the science has been proven long ago that the water droplets do help the temps go down and help you feel refreshed. we’ve all experienced those hot days when fans just move hot air towards you and do not really do anything to cool you down. the misting feature is a game changer for sure. the fan unit can detach from the bucket and you can use it like that without the misting feature, perhaps hang it inside a tent, put it on top of a table or on your boat. fan speed is easily controlled by the knob, and it has an oscillating function to spread the cool more. built-in LED lights add ambience at night, and you can also charge mobile phones with it if needed. a remote control makes it convenient to change settings if you are lazy like me to get up from the comforts of a nice patio chair or camping chair.this is a versatile fan that will prove to be very useful in many different situations and conditions, and with the build quality and my previous experience with other products from the manufacturer, this will provide many years of reliable service. highly recommended!

Odoland does it again with another amazing and versatile fan! My longest used fan was a simpler Odoland portable camping fan that I had running all summer long last year and is still happy to put in the work to this day! Plus, I’m a bit clumsy, so it definitely took some spills with me.This Odoland fan is a more premium model, so I was excited to try it and right out of the box I was already impressed! It didn’t even occur to me that the fan would be part transformer, it was tucked so nicely into the bucket! It is such a great use of space and makes packing the whole thing a no brainer. The bottom of the fan is a deluxe base that doesn’t really show it’s need for the bucket which was best for me right now as I really don’t need the mister yet. I tried it, it does work nicely but for now all the pieces are tucked into the bucket should it be needed.The fan is super powerful, has an amazing range in speed/force and easy access to it’s function on the base. I was a bit surprised to find the fan starts with a dial but it’s build in power change shows even with the small adjustments. The oscillating has such a wide range and the ability to control have it move in a small or wide range or not at all. Plus, this can all easily be adjusted from a far with the included remote!I know it’s a camping fan but as now it’s living on the window ledge of my basement bedroom window pulling in fresh air because I can’t get a good breeze to come my way ever! It has really helped level the temp in my room with little to no white noise added. The remote makes it too easy to use and the way it is placed, the LED lamp covers most of my room which has made finding my dropped phone a lot easier in the dead of night! Oh, by the way, the lamp is intense, prepare for the flashbang! It will easily cut through the darkness of the woods and probably lights up my low light room as much as my actual standing lamp does!Honestly, I would recommend keeping this fan with your emergency power outage or roadside emergency supplies when not in use! You might not need the fan at the time but it’s a lantern, a humidifier, easy access bucket and a decent power-bank. No matter what the situation, you’ll probably find use for at least 2 of the functions during an emergency~!
