A Must-Have for Any Outdoor Adventure!
This Odoland portable misting fan has become an absolute game-changer for our camping trips and even just hanging out on the patio. The fan itself is surprisingly powerful for its size and definitely keeps us cool, and the different speed settings are great. What really sets it apart, though, is that awesome built-in light; it’s perfect for lighting up our tent at night without needing extra gear. Plus, the battery life is seriously impressive â it lasts forever on a single charge, which is a huge relief when you’re off-grid. Even the misting function, when we use it, offers a nice little extra cool down. It’s super easy to carry and the hook means we can hang it pretty much anywhere. If you spend any time outdoors and want to stay comfortable, seriously, get one of these!

Very nice fan with extras
I was skeptical about this fan, it felt slightly cheap and possibly not high quality. I ordered it for car camping, and in the back of my van it worked very nice. I have had it set on a table using it and hanging it from the hook, both worked great. I do not think I would use the misting feature especially in the car, but for sitting outside of the vehicle I could see using this. Love that it has a nice bright light, and the remote is also a nice feature, the remote would be even better if backlit. It did take awhile to charge up, but when we are car camping we have a portable generator we can use to charge it back up. I think this fan is going to come on all of our camping trips with us, very nice in a stuffy car.

Fan works well, misting not so much
The fan works very well, but the mister did not work on mine. The instructions said it may drip from the nozzle, but this wasn’t just drip, it poured out all over my wooden table. It did not ‘mist’ at all. The fan does work well, and it has several speeds. it’s also very versatile- you can hang it and manipulate the direction (it will also oscillate).

THe Odoland Portable Misting Fan is very unique.First off, it’s HUGE.Biig airflow + Biiig battery. ðð½This means it will last long. It’ big enough to even ac as a charger. The fan itself is very big in that it has a large diameter of blade fans. This means it moves more air per revolution. The fan has different speeds but I feel the lowest speed is perfectly fine for my comfort and use. The fan can sweep to tee right/left further increasing it’s ability to move air in a wide area.It has a built in flashlight which is very useful in addition to the charger if needed. It does have a water reservoir you can fill if you want the fan to spray a light mist to help cooling but I do not use that as its’ humid where i am. It’s nice that it has that option though. Perhaps at the beach maybe.Lastly, the mounting options are very good. It can be put sitting on a table or it can be hanged from somewhere upside down using the hook that is part of the body.A very unique design and size.I’d recommend the Odoland Portable Misting Fan. âðð½

As someone whose family participates in a fair number of summer activities, finding a way to get a bit cooler on those hot summer days is always a good thing. I’ve tried neck fans, and while they have their benefits, they’re only good for the person wearing them. This Odoland portable fan looked like a good solution, and while there are many features I like about it, there are also some things that could use improvement. Since it’s the middle of winter right now I haven’t been able to fully put it through its paces, but based on my early trials I’d rate this a 3.5 out of 5 stars, but I’m rounding up as I think the benefits outweigh the annoyances – at least at this point. The product comes with the fan, a basic instructions booklet, and a USB-A to USB-C charging cable. With a large capacity battery it does take several hours to fully charge the fan (the manufacturer suggests as much as 10 hours to fully recharge), as getting from around 62% capacity to fully charged took over three hours. There is also a USB-A port next to the USB-C charging port which you can use to plug in a device and draw power from the fan’s battery, which is a nice backup system. The fan is quite lightweight, and most of the weight is in the base. This makes sense since this is where the motor and battery are housed and, if you’re using this as a freestanding unit, it means it won’t easily tip over. The fan part is very light, but this makes it feel cheap. I guess it’s a tradeoff, as the lighter the fan the easier it is for the motor to move it and the longer the battery will last. However, it does make the unit feel a bit fragile so I’m hoping it will stand up to a decent amount of outdoor usage. There is a 5-button control panel on the base, but it also comes with a remote control. The remote tucks neatly into the side of the base so it’s easy to transport and you don’t have to worry about losing it. The controls on the base include one button to operate the light (low, medium, high), one button to operate the fan (five different speeds), one button to operate the misting function (low and high), one button to operate the rotation (fixed, 45 degrees, 90 degrees), and one button to set a timer. I haven’t tried the misting or timer function, and I think the misting is likely more useful, though I could see the timer being beneficial if you were to use this at night while camping. To control each of the functions you short press the appropriate button. None of the buttons have any type of noticeable feedback so it’s difficult to tell if you’ve successfully pressed them. Each short press cycles through the settings – so for the light as an example, pressing once turns the light on low, pressing again goes to medium, pressing a third time goes to high, and pressing a fourth time turns it off. You can also long-press each of the buttons to turn the feature off but I had mixed results getting this to work consistently. There is a carrying handle at the top of the fan which makes it convenient to move around, though I do wish this came with a bag to help protect it when not in use (and to store the charging cable with the fan). There is also a hook on the underside of the fan, at the bottom of the base. This makes it possible to hang the fan upside down, useful if you’re using this in a tent or canopy. There is a small reservoir at the top of the fan that you can fill with water, then you remove a small rubber cover in the centre of the fan to reveal two misting nozzles. The instructions suggest that, in order to ensure the water is flowing, if you hang the fan (by the hook on the base) that you flip the fan so the reservoir remains at the top. You can only tilt the fan by so much, so if you do want to hang this the fan will always be pointing down (which I guess makes sense if this is hung above you). You can manually tilt the fan, with a range of motion upwards of 270 degrees. The automatic rotation function works, but switching between the 90 degree and 45 degree setting didn’t make a difference as the fan seems to stick to the first setting – 90 degrees. I did get it to work at only 45 degrees once, but I’m not sure what “reset” it to recognize the change in setting.Overall, I’m looking forward to using the fan this summer, but I do have some reservations about the durability of the device. Hopefully it will hold up, and if it does, it pushes enough air that if placed relatively close to you should provide some relief. I’m also curious to see how well the misting function works, something I’m going to experiment with when I get this outdoors. I’ll look to update this review once I’ve been able to test it in real world settings, but for now I’m comfortable recommending it as having something portable that produces a decent amount of breeze is a benefit.

Odoland Portable Camping Fan with LED Light,30000mAh Rechargeable Battery Operated Oscillating Fan with Remote & Hook, Misting Fan with Display, 5 Speeds for Power Outage Travel Jobsite,OrangeThis multipurpose fan is huge step up from the little portable one Iâve used over the past couple summers, itâs more powerful and has more features. First impressions are the colour is way brighter than expected! But not a problem as itâs a very cheerful colour and it wasnât expected to be an overly subtle fan, if used out while camping or for other remote activities, the bright colour could be a safety featureOne of the big upgrades on this fan is that it has a convenient remote control that tucks snugly into the base, the remote control has all the features that the control panel has, in fact is easier to use than the panel on the fan base. I didnât find the on/off to be very intuitive on the fan base, but it seems that the fan icon is the on/off switch, but is a bit clumsy as it is also the button used to adjust the fan settings. I would probably try my best to keep the remote control attached to the fan base because Iâm worried that Iâll lose it, but it seems easier to use than controlling on the fan itself. The remote control requires a battery, which is included, hoping it has a long life! The control panel is has a digital display showing fan power level, battery life and feature in use and is very easy to see.The fan itself is quite powerful, it has a range of 5 power settings and has an oscillating feature. Other non-fan features are the light (which can be adjusted to 3 levels of brightness) and the misting feature that blows a fine mist of water with the fan. The reservoir for the water has a very secure rubber cap, which is very practical since the fan can be hung upside down and the plug ensures the water wonât leak. One other feature is that it can be used as a charger with the USB-A outlet at the back. The fan has a wide range to tilt and there is a hook on top but can also be hung from the bottom side for even more options for the perfect angle.I love that the fan is USB-C rechargeable, saving the hassle and expense of batteries and meaning you can set it anywhere instead of dealing with a cord and an outlet. For the few occasions we would use this outdoors away from an outlet for recharging, the recharge life on this is probably adequate. At ~$58 (at time of review) this is on the pricier side than other portable fans weâve had, but it also has a greater range of features for convenience which would explain the price point.

This is a review of the Odoland Portable Camping Fan with LED Light, 20000mAh Rechargeable Battery Operated Oscillating Fan with Remote & Hook, Misting Fan with Display, 5 Speeds for Power Outage Travel Job site, Orange. This Odoland Portable Camping and Misting Fan, has a host of useful features, is very effective and versatile in use, and can last for a whopping 9.5 hours on its shortest charge (i.e., on the slowest speed).I would order the Odoland again if necessary.See below for details.Highly recommended.YOU SHOULD KNOWMODELThe Instruction Manual describes this as the Odoland Portable Misting Fan, Model F12POWERMax. Power 15WWorking Power 15WType -C Input/Output DC 5V-3AUSB Output DC 5V-3ABattery Capacity 20000mAhCHARGING TIMESome might find it a disadvantage that the Odoland battery takes 9-10 hours to fully charge (charging time may vary depending on the charging device), but I think this is reasonable given the incredibly long run times.Out of the box, the Odoland F12 had an 88% charge – it took 68 minutes to charge the Odoland to 100% capacity.RE-ATTACHING RUBBER USB PORT COVERWhen I first pulled on the rubber cover to the USB A and USB C ports, I accidentally pulled the length of rubber that attaches the cover to the fan out of its hole.I did manage to re-insert the cover into the whole, using a jewellerâs screwdriver (a tooth pick did not work for this purpose).Even this cover is well designed!PROS – WHAT I LIKE1. The Odoland F12 Portable Misting Fan has a strong (and versatile) Fan, which can switch between 5 âstrengthâ settings, the strongest of which can be felt as a cool breeze just over 20 ft. from the fan2. The Odoland has an incredible run-time (9.5 hours on its slowest charge)3. The Odoland oscillates – this is a BIG bonus for me, as I have fans this size that are effective, but do not oscillate, and I always wish those fans had an oscillation feature4. I was surprised to find that the Odoland desk fan is equipped with 2 adjustable spray settings (the intermittent mode which lasts 52 minutes, and the continuous mode, which lasts 25 minutes) – this is a fun feature that works well5. The Odoland camping fan has 3 lighting colors and 3 brightness settings, providing soft light at night and strong light for outdoor activities6. It is really useful that the Odoland has a remote control (which has a range of 16ft.)7. Sensibly, there is a recessed space for the remote control built-in to one of the sides of the Odolandâs base – this is a good design, which I appreciate a great deal8. The Odoland has a hook for hanging it, if desired – this is another very useful feature9. The Odoland can provide charge/power for devices such as a mobile âphone, and other devices10. Using the Light control on the front face plate on the Odoland F12 Portable Misting Fan, the lights can be switched between 3 âcoloursâ (Cool, Warm and Cool, Warm )11. The orange colour of the Odoland means it should be easily visible (and therefore, easily to visually locate) amidst a host of other items12. I really like that this Odoland fan can be charged while in use – this is particularly useful for outdoor pursuits such as camping, when the fan could run out of charge if it was just running on the battery13. The hard plastic material used to construct the Odoland fan seems to be durable, although it might crack if dropped on to a hard floor14. The default loud beeping sound (which occurs when you switch the LED light on and off, and when you switch between its 3 brightness settings) can be turned offCONS – WHAT I DO NOT LIKE1. Cleaning the FanMy experience with fans is that the blades can eventually become quite dusty, and that can make them less effective (by slowing them down, and diminishing their power), and noisier. This will be particularly true when using this fan for camping or in a dirtier-than-a-house environment, such as a garageThose problems can be remedied by being able to temporarily remove the front plate / grill of the fan, and also temporarily removing the fan blade from the back plate of the fanUnfortunately, there is no way of taking off the front grill of the Odoland, so using a small paint brush, and/or some cotton buds in combination with a vacuum cleaner is the only way to clean the fan blades in the Odoland2. While the fan is not necessarily too noisy for camping, on the third, fourth and fifth of its 5 settings it is too noisy for domestic use (unless you are 15 or so feet away from the fan, and that kind of distance is where its effectiveness as a fan begins to tail off)3. Switching between the 3 light âcoloursâ (Cool, Warm and Cool, Warm) can only be done from the front face plate on the Odoland, not from the Remote Control
