Amazing pizza oven
First time cooking with a pizza oven but it was amazing! Issues were my own fault not the oven. We will be getting a lot of use out of this!

Great product
Assembled and cooked pizza on day of arrival. I’ve read that chimney and door bolts are too long. The chimney cap bolt for temp. control is long, for a reason. With the spring installed beneath, the cap is snug and works as it should.Doors do have a little play, but work perfectly. Assembly of the door handles is a little tricky, but not difficult. Be sure to slightly bend the locking tabs away from the door and they will not rub and still work as they should.Cooked only once so far and used hickory wood pieces. Cut them to approx 6″ x 1″. That works great.Temp will get high, 500-700 degrees if too much wood is used.Temp control is something that will take a few to get used to adjusting, as with any charcoal or wood grill.Looking forward to using this great little stove again.

Good Little Pizza Oven but…
For the money it is a pretty good little wood burning oven. Our first meal was a smoked lasagna and it turned out really nice with just a 45 minute cook time. The oven is easy to assemble however there are a few quality issues: only 3 legs fold out to extend the height, the forth leg is riveted incorrectly and as such will not open completely; the screws holding the doors on are 1/4″ too long and with the cap nut they sit very loose; the ash door jams very easily and becomes hard to open/close.

Pizza oven works great.

Works great.
This is my first pizza oven. There is definitely a learning curve to not burning the crust. Overall, this unit works great. Works excellent for pizza that has raw dough for the crust. Papa Murphyâs Take and Bake âlargeâ pizzas fits perfectly inside. Itâs also good for roasting chicken breast and pork tenderloins. Use a digital thermometer when cooking meats, itâs easy to dry out or overcook. I was gonna make my own pizza oven, Iâm glad I didnât!

Not a good product
Terrible pizza oven. I have been cooking pizzas for over 30 years and figured having a wood fired oven at home would be fun. This thing is junk, the sheet metal is thin and warps with the increase of temps, the stone is right above the fire so the bottom of the pizza burns before the pizza has a chance to cook. Any wood fired oven has the fire on the stone and you use the heat in the stone after moving the fire off to the side. I should have known better. DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!

Poor Customer Service
I have used the grill twice. It takes some getting used to. I burnt the bottom of the first pizza because I wasn’t patient enough to let the fire burn down to coals. The second pizza was much better. My problem with the oven is that the handle fell off immediately after installation. I picked up the oven with nothing inside of it, and the left handle broke off.I contacted the seller. They promised to send a handle. They never sent a handle. I like the oven. But the customer service is terrible.

Use this Pizza Oven Right Out of the Box
I don’t have $1,000 to spend on a pizza oven. That said, pizza costs us $50 to $80 every time we order out, and I have had a hard time finding a pizza I really love in our town. I wanted a reasonably priced alternative and this is it. My husband assembled the Pizzello this morning and we ate pizza tonight. The oven works really well — most especially for it’s incredibly reasonable price point. I love cooking with wood and this scratched my itch. Yes, I have tried pizza in the oven many times, and also pizza on my Char-Griller grill (a hot mess). This worked great and I highly recommend it for anyone who isn’t a purist and just wants a great homemade pizza. Tonight I used Whole Foods pizza dough, Whole Foods pizza sauce (which I doctored with chopped garlic, pepper flakes, salt, sugar and oregano) and then all our favorite toppings. Totally worth it. If you are dipping your toe in home cooked pizza, this is the outdoor pizza oven for you.

I read reviews and was worried, so I took it slow. I cook on open fire all the time and understand that coals are your friend. So I started the fire with a large brick of coals from the campfire, I then added wood( you understand with the size of the firebox you need six inch long by 3/4 of an inch in diameter wood. Once the fire reaches max temp and fire is burning let the fire relax and let temp start coming down. I installed two temp gauges, one upper chamber and one lower chamber. This helps a ton to cook a great pizza. Once temp comes to 650 ish, put in pizza and add wood as necessary to maintain between 650 and 500. If smokes even starts to come out of the door open the chimney flue all the way. Use the flue to control temp and more importantly smoke. Follow these instructions and your a pizza chef. Remember build your heat and then when it peaks put in pizza, it will be great.

I havenât actually made a pizza yet but Iâve had a fire in it and the speed in which the oven got super hot was impressive to say the least and also the cover for the pizza oven is brilliant and so much better than most products, I was shocked at how well made the cover is and would certainly recommend this product.
