Highly recommend if you want studio-quality sound on a budget!

Unusable — audio is clipped and distorted unless held at least 2 ft away from mouth
This mic is literally unusable (with my iPhone, using the Lightning port) because the volume (gain) is set so insanely high that the audio clips and sounds completely distorted. And there’s no gain adjustment, so there’s no way to fix it. The only way to record usable sound is to hold it at least 2 feet away from your mouth, which defeats the entire purpose of a lav mic, which is to clip it close to your mouth (on your shirt or tie) to get good, high-signal, low-reverb audio. So you have to wear it down by your belt to avoid clipping, but which means it’s picking up sounds (and reverb) from the whole room, as opposed to your voice. So it’s 1 star for that alone.And then there are just bizarre design choices. The LED on the receiver is bizarrely bright if you look at it head-on, almost like looking into a laser. Which wouldn’t be a major problem except that, when plugged into your phone, you look at it head on whenever you look at your phone’s screen. It’s so bright from that one angle it’s genuinely uncomfortable.And then the other bizarre thing is that if you double-click the button on the mic it turns on “reverb mode” which comically makes your voice sound like it’s echoing in the Grand Canyon on Looney Tunes. It’s literally a cartoon effect. Why…? Just, why? Like if this were a microphone for kids and there were 20 effects then it would make sense. But this is marketed for professionals, and then if you accidentally double-press the mic button it turns on a joke audio filter.Finally, the noise cancellation works, but is way too aggressive to use this for anything professional, since your voice sounds heavily processed.So this is just a mess of a product that can’t really be used for anything. Returning.

Excellent Value–PQRQP 3 in1 wireless mic for Iphone
Good: Excellent value for the money. I compared this to a much more expensive mic set but wasn’t sure I’d use it enough to warrant the Significant increase in price. This product has really impressed me (for the price). I have a few complaints that I’ll list below, but overall for the price it is excellent. Audio quality is very good, I am pleased. Range has worked fine for me however I have not tried to “see how far it would work”. Most of my use case has been less than 30 feet and line of sight. Not sure how far it would reach while still being effective. You get about 2 hrs per charge. You can power the receiver and use it at same time.Bad: I am using this in a lecture scenario. The receiver is plugged into my laptop via USB C. My complaint is that it doesn’t charge while connected. I have to run a separate cable to the USB C input and plug the USB C into the side of my computer. This requires two USB ports on my laptop. I don’t care for this. You can use the receiver while plugged into power. That is good.You cannot charge the mic while using. You can only run on battery, as soon as you put power to it it shuts down. At least you get about 2hrs on a charge.
