My son loves this right out of the box (after quick assembly with a toddler breathing down my neck and walking off with parts). We already had a simple ride-on toy, but I wanted something we could use outside. Specifically, I wanted no buttons, sounds, and lights, and I wanted rubber wheels. This trike fits the bill! As others have stated, this is small. My son is 19 months and 31.75â tall. His feet do run into the front wheels while riding, especially when turning. Most of the time, he rides in a position where his feet kick back and do not hit the well-designed rear wheels. Overall, we love it! Itâs will bring many hours of play time. I doubt heâll still be able to ride it when heâs closer to 3 years old based on its size, though. Iâd say the ideal range is 12-24 months.

This was such a great rider for my son! Cute, fun, lightweight. We bought it early in the summer and he rides it almost every day. I was hoping this four wheeler was a little larger (my son is turning 3 soon and he is small for his age) and that we would be able to get more than a couple of seasons of use out of it. So I would only recommend it for toddlers, ages 18 months – 2.5 years.

While this was bought for a 1.5-2 year old, it didn’t stop my 4 year old niece from hopping on too! Surprisingly decent instruction manual, didn’t run into any problems assembling and it works as advertised!
