Great Product/ Customer service is lacking
The product itself is great, like many others have said it does take a really long time to assemble. And that is for those who are used to working with their hands/tools. With that being said the top portion of my desk was cracked when received, the top of the desk is on the very bottom of the box when assembling so it was not to the very end that I noticed the crack. I reached out to the company who offer a partial refund and suggested I purchase a touch-up pen to cover the crack.I paid for an undamaged desk and figured I could at least get a top without damage, but it is not looking that way. So for that reason I gave 3 stars. The product appears to be great, but the customer service from the company seems to be lacking.Update: the seller is sending a replacement desk. According to them just sending the top would be more likely to get damaged in shipping. Thank you for helping to resolve the issue at hand.

Very sturdy desk. Comes in what feels like a 1000 pieces but good instructions. The only bad part is the outlet on top. It is in a bad location. I had to place my monitor/computer on top of it or it would be too close to the front of the desk. Which would give you very little desk space. Just and FYI I have an all in one computer so my base is kind of big.

Product doesn’t even deserve a star! Assembling the desk was nothing short of a nightmare. I am a maintenance professional and am extremely qualified to assemble what should have been a relatively quick process. Under 2 hours would have been the norm for a furniture piece of this size. The first day, I spent 4 hours partially assembling it and the following day, approximately 3 more hours more to finish it. This furniture is extremely heavy for its size. I will say that the instructions were easy to read and comprehend. Once the desk was assembled, I realized that the height and width of the opening where you sit, did not fit my 6′ 2″ frame. I felt like I was sitting at a kids desk. Nowhere on the description or specifications were these dimensions detailed. I started a return on Amazon and was instructed to disassemble and put the product back in its original packaging so it could be sent to the third party vendor. To disassemble it would be impossible, since the assembly process consisted of using glue. I would have had to take it apart with a sledge hammer, which would’ve destroyed it. After starting a return and calling Amazon Customer service four times, and then putting in a claim with their A-Z guarantee, I realized that they were not going to do anything for me, All they did was repeatedly email me a form letter, which did not address the issue I was having, and the subsequently cancel the claim a few days later. This happened four (4) times. It should be noted, that the cost to ship the product back to the third party vendor, assembled, would have been $1,500. Amazon did not come through and refund me for the product that I can’t use. On a good note, the manufacturer offered me $35 to keep it, which is a joke. I will never purchase any type of furniture again from Amazon.

Beware of damaged shipping box but ended up a nice desk
The desk looks great but arrived in a damaged box and mess of parts and packaging within – it appears to have been returned and resold. We should have refused delivery but didn’t. It was a lot of effort on our part but once we sorted through the broken foam and mishmash of parts we were able to ascertain all pieces/parts were present. It took my husband a long time to build. The instructions were pretty good but there is a lot to do. It is sturdy and looks good.
