Does need a stainless lid cover but works great
Assembled easily. The design makes it smokeless but one can smother the flame and it will briefly smoke. Just don’t burn paper, leaves or dirty debris in it.

I have not had a chance to put a fire in it yet but I can say it is heavy and built well. I’ve been looking at the off brands for a bit at the local stores, what I noticed is this one is at least 10lbs heavier than the others I have looked at. great size for the price. Only reason I knocked a star off is the top ring just floats, not attached or held down and I see this being a problem if bumped or when trying to put wood in. At the same time it’s not horrible as I see this helping to clean the ash out. I’ll update once the rain stops and I can actually have a fire in the unit.

Perfect size
I thought it was gonna be too small until I actually used it. You do have to use smaller pieces of wood, and it burns extremely hot so be prepared to burn through some wood, but truly a smokeless grill. Used for camping trips.
