Fantastic for cooling down in the heat
These towels are exactly what I needed this summer! I work outside in hot and dry weather and they are perfect for cooling down when you feel like you’re sweating and dying in the sun. Super cheap, super easy to clean, and the whole soak and snap deal actually works. Have only been using for about 3 weeks so I can’t really speak on the longevity of them, but I wouldn’t be mad if I had to just buy another one.

I needed something for our daughter when she is playing Soccer in the heat. I can not believe that this worked! I wet it in tap water, ring it out, place it back in the travel pouch, and she snaps it at 1/2 time. She places it around her neck and uses the ends to cool wipe her face. My daughter runs hot so when playing the whole game she is a mess of heat and red face. The degree of change after snap is going from room temperature to almost cold freezer temp. I do not know how this works but it WORKS!!! We so we all have one. The material was silky/soft to the face and the color opts. are unique. Great Quality and this really works! I forgot to mention, the towel is not wet like a wash cloth so it doesn’t leave a wet spot on your clothes.

Great for Hot Days Out
I love the blue geometric print! It looks like its good quality and not cheaply made. I knew we had to order one after a long day at Disneyland. They sell this type of product at Disneyland that have the same feel and look but with Mickey ears printed -for 2x the price of this!Instructions for use of the product is simple! It came with a blue carabiner but I don’t see myself using it with the plastic pouch it came with because its very stiff and large.The towel is soft and keeps cool. Its becoming one of those things I cant leave the house without whenever we go on family trips.

(Manage your expectations. Itâs not advertised as a âcoldâ towel.)The thin cloth works by wetting it. With water. So, when worn around your neck, your clothing neckline will be any where from barely damp – to wet. Based on your ability to perform a wringing motion.The fabric absorbs and draws heat away from your skin, so an occasional shake shakes the heat out and captures cooler air again. As long as itâs damp, itâs effective. (Doesnât require multiple visits to a bathroom/sink with cold water, if youâre out and about for the day.)And thank you to the reviewer who suggested snapping the towel against something (imaginary sibling or teammate).Works great outdoors and indoors, if you prefer cooler sleeping conditions and donât want to crank the AC.

This is cooling towel is perfect! I work 8-10 hour days performing surgeries everyday and had been overheating (not the greatest A/C at work). I was using a clunkier cooling towel around my neck but just didn’t seem to do the trick. This towel is thin and more cloth like than most cooling towels, so it conforms better to your body. The towel stays cool for probably 4 hours w/ an initial 30min soak (I just put it in a freezer bag w/ water and let it soak while I drive to work). I use this towel as my surgical cap–it is large enough to completely cover my head plus the ends dangle under my scrub top to keep my neck cool. Yeah, my coworkers make fun of me and my “do rag” look, but I just can’t imagine working without it again. I love this towel so much that I’ve bought a second one to switch out half way through my day (it takes a few minutes to completely soak the towel, so this is a bit of a time saver for me).

Did the job I needed but not sure it’s any cooler than any other fabric
I got this for a camping trip in the deep south this summer. The fabric is high quality and it washes easily and is a good size and pretty design. It is certainly cooling while wet and was ideal for draping across me with a camp fan aimed over it on the hottest nights to create a very cooling AC effect. I don’t think it’s like magically or stupendously more cool than most any other piece of thin wet fabric though and it didn’t suddenly get super cold when I snapped it like recommended, just stayed about the same. That all said, it was worth the cheap price just because it you do want a cooling towel, its the right size and quality for one.

Death Valley!!!
The first time we used these we went to Death Valley in California. The hottest place in the US. Fortunately, we went in February which was a good time to go since it wasn’t very hot. For the time that they were moist it worked pretty well. We just didn’t have a lot of places to refresh the towels and I wasn’t about to use my drinking water to do so. Overall all I was pretty satisfied with its performance. I liked the versatility of using it as a scarf or headband. I was surprised as to how the cloths felt. Almost as if you could have gotten any cloth and used them the same way. I haven’t tried that yet so these could very well be special. I’d like to try them again wherein I have a readily available water source to refresh the towels at regular intervals. Overall though, I was satisfied with how it performed and would recommend that you try it.

It cools quickly and stays wet for a long period of time and you can fold it and put it in the bag when not in use. It makes perimenopause bearable when it comes to hot flashes. It comes in a lot of colors. Great for working outside in the summer in hot weather. Just re- wet it when it starts to dry and it becomes cold again. The directions are clear and easy to understand.
