Fountain didn’t work as expected
The box had obviously been opened and returned. The tube coming from the pump was too long and pinched when the pump was installed. I had to buy another tube and fiddle with it so that it wasn’t pinched. I finally got the fountain to pump water and the crystal ball did not turn as advertised. I adjusted the pump pressure and still the crystal would not turn. It was very disappointing. Also, the light is not under the crystal, which makes it rather mute. Overall, I would not purchase another of these fountains. Also, the sound is very quiet, so if you don’t like the sound of moving water, this might be a good choice for you. Personally, I like to hear the water move and trickle.

Elegant, quiet, ball no spinny
This is a very simple, yet elegant looking desk waterfall/fountain. It’s also not exactly what I was looking for, before i really knew what i was looking for.It is extremely simple to put together (basin, pump, fountain base, water cups… and the decorative rocks and glass ball).However, when I assembled, filled, and ran it, I found two things that weren’t to my liking:1. It was almost silent. I was expecting some amount of flowing water sound as soothing background noise but there was none. I tried removing the glass ball from the top cup to increase flow but everything is too close to the next recepticle to generate any noise. If you want visual aesthetic with no sound, this is your fountain.2. The ball doesn’t spin much/at all. Other reviews recommend adding water but that is not a silver bullet. I tried filling it to almost overflowing and draining it to just enough to keep flowing, no spinny.So I tried some configuration changes to try and improve the glass ball visual aesthetic and provide some flowing water ambience. After a little trial and error, I came. up with the following, as shown in the pic and vid:- Remove the bottom (LED holding) cup. This allows the water to drop from the third cup straight into the water basin through the hole where the last cup should be.- Place the LED in the runoff hole of the fountain base in front of where the bottom cup goes.- Place the glass ball on top of the LED to help obscure the space where the last cup should be.- Lay the rocks around the fountain base, using 2-3 to help build up the ‘wall’ hiding where the water flows into the basin.This will not give you a spinning ball but it will light it up and provide some subtle background trickling water. You’re welcome.I don’t usually expect to have to hack something to suit my requirements but this fountain is elegant and cheap enough that I didn’t mind.

BEAUTIFUL But….BALL DOES NOT SPIN…..NO WATERFALL NOISE
I wish I had read the reviews BEFORE I purchased as a gift for a co-worker.I ended up giving her an Amazon gift card for the embarrassment.PROSBeautiful…….nice for an office desktop.More for decoration but not if you want it to function as a fountain.Many compliments “cute”, “nice”… where did you get it?Compact and the perfect color if office furniture is brown and blackCONSBall DOES NOT SPIN (I have read other reviews and spent hours trying to figure out – from adding water till its at brim and cant put stones on to adjusting switch in middle on bottom to spinning ball with my hands to give it a “kick start”. Ball will spin when you kick start but then it stops and thats it (this is why people can video the ball spinning….it will do it for a minute when you jump start it).. In my opinion ball is too HEAVY thats why it does not float OR motor needs to be stronger ( more “ooooomf”) to make ball spin.NO on or off SWITCH. You need to unplug from power. I bought my cube mate an extension cord with on off switch for convenience of shutting off at end of day (to try to make up for the ball not spinning and noiseMotor is NOISY… you hear it. So cubicle mates may complainSo I am stuck with this fountain becuase she already threw box away. Sadly it will go in recycling or I will put it on my patio table as a decoration (not use the motor).VERY VERY VERY disappointing. MAD AT MYSELF for not reading reviews BEFORE purchasing.Good thing is my cube mate used the Amazon Gift card and got a nice one that works AND its ball spins and there are lights to it and there is no noise.

Its a desk top fountain
pretty simple desktop fountain. Fewer rocks than what I was expecting, but not a problem since I like to collect rocks. Just swapped them out and now it looks a little fuller.

It didnât even last for 24 hours. The motor stopped working after a few hours, the ball doesnât rotate with water. Size is smaller than it looks in the pictures.

Not only is this water fountain a piece of junk, but it only worked for about a week and then the pump stopped working. The glass ball doesn’t rotate and just sits there when the unit is plugged in. Don’t waste your money on this cheap chinese made piece of junk!!!

The item came defective. I wrote to the Seller who promised they would initiate a refund. Then they said that to initiate a refund they would arrange a pick up. They then said they cannot refund unless the pick up was processed. I did everything I can on my part and no pick up was arranged. It has been more than a month and the Seller has stopped replying to my queries. They kept telling me they would refund but not to write a review. I have no choice but to do so especially because I don’t want others to also lose their money. Poor quality and poor workmanship.
