“When the enemy is relaxed, make them toil. When full, starve them. When settled, make them move.”
Sun Tzu, The Art of War
The Art of War is an ancient Chinese military treatise attributed to Sun Tzu, a high-ranking military general, strategist and tactician. The text is composed of 13 chapters, each of which is devoted to one aspect of warfare. It is commonly known to be the definitive work on military strategy and tactics of its time. It has been the most famous and influential of China’s Seven Military Classics, and “for the last two thousand years it remained the most important military treatise in Asia, where even the common people knew it by name.” It has had an influence on Eastern and Western military thinking, business tactics, legal strategy and beyond. The book was first translated into the French language in 1772 by French Jesuit Jean Joseph Marie Amiot and a partial translation into English was attempted by British officer Everard Ferguson Calthrop in 1905. The first annotated English language translation was completed and published by Lionel Giles in 1910. Leaders as diverse as Mao Zedong, General Vo Nguyen Giap, General Douglas MacArthur and leaders of Imperial Japan have drawn inspiration from the work.

Tiny but well made book that is full of wisdom
The art of War is one of the classics that has been passed down for literally over a thousand years. This copy is a tiny little book, but well made and full of wisdom. You can find ways to apply Sun Tzu’s knowledge in your life that have nothing to do with war. If you’ve not read it and what a copy that you can keep for a long time, and this is a great purchase.

A Living Masquerade –
Required reading for all. Male/ Female, the letter leagues, Dwarves, Fairys, your pets etc. etc.
This is my favorite book of all time. I’ve owned this book 20 times over the years & have given it away to 40 others. I love the paperback styling of this one. This is required reading for ‘all.’ Every militant leader & war monger have been consulting this book for 2500 yrs. Thats testament to the power of the words inside. This is very different from Marcus Aurelus Mediations. I can honestly say that every reader will take something away but, it might also expose plagiarists posing as profound thinkers. Young eyes will be fine but, older eyes will need reading glasses. My eyes ae screen fried. This book is much like those being diagnosed with herpes. It’s a gift that keeps on giving.

Good book
One of the best books I have purchased. Applicable in many facets of business, and management. Demands to be read at least once, every year. The hardback version was a good choice, however the quality of the paper itself was not, the thin paper made it so that the words on the back transpired, rendering the reading experience not ideal

Good book, super thin pages
The book is great and is pretty much as described in the listing. However, I am docking a star due to how thin the pages are. In one of the photos I took, you can see the writing through two pages, sometimes being able to be seen through three pages.

KsiÄ Å¼ka ekstremalnie niskiej jakoÅci. OkÅadka jest lekko wypÅowiaÅa na grzbiecie, a napisy na przodzie i tyle okÅadki sÄ w bardzo niskiej rozdzielczoÅci (widaÄ piksele goÅym okiem, aż trudno czytaÄ opis z tyÅu). CaÅoÅÄ wyglÄ da jakby ktoÅ wydrukowaÅ gotowego PDFa i oprawiÅ w okÅadkÄ skserowanÄ w domu. Lepiej kupiÄ innÄ , trochÄ droższÄ wersjÄ niż to. Sama zawartoÅÄ ksiÄ Å¼ki jest w porzÄ dku, ale nie nadaje siÄ ona do postawienia na póÅce.
