Great desk for computer setups//Consider this if you have a considerable budget
Got this awhile back because I wanted a larger desk that can fit all my computer peripherals and I haven’t changed it since then. Here is a list of Pro’s and Con’s for those considering this particular desk.Pros:1. Sturdy: This desk is solid across the board, and VERY stable. You won’t notice any wobbles from side-to-side or front-to-back (I personally can vouch for this because my arms are always glued to this desk when I’m playing games and this desk does not interfere with my gameplay or just any visible shaking)2. Good Value for its worth: Compared to height-adjustable desks or even IKEA furniture’s, this desk cost less and has everything you possibly need for a computer setup. It might not have the benefits being able to adjust its height but you have a lot of leg space to work with already.3. Weight capacity: The 70.8 width desk can supposedly hold up to 330 pounds/ 150 kilos so you shouldn’t have any problems with loading your desk up.4. Well built: The desk has 4 legs, 2 brackets supporting each end and a wide H-shaped bracket supporting the planks in the middle, I personally don’t know if this design helps with the stability of the desk but it looks and feels reassuring.Cons:1. Sharp Edges: Haven’t seen much reviews talking about this edges of this desk but yeah just be mindful of the edges, they do provide covers to block it but the adhesives don’t stick well.2. Mounting Mic/Monitor stands might be a problem. The planks on the sides and front/back don’t offer much room so you might have to mount it on the brackets with a much longer mounting stand for your peripherals.3. Consider what size desk your getting: This is a problem for those that don’t have much room to work with. Don’t just consider the width but also the depth (front to back) of the desk. I personally have the 70.8 width desk that has a depth of 32 inch, which is definitely overboard though It gave me a lot of room to work with.4. Get yourself some baby wipes and disposable gloves before starting the build, mainly from the screws.Overall, this is a great desk for many reasons, worth considering for your personal workspace or gaming setup. I bought this 2 years ago when I was still on a budget as a college student, and its still holding up with no damages. And lastly, If your concerned about the assembly process of this desk, I can reassure you that its easy-peasy. Probably the first furniture I built and it took like 3 hours max, just follow the instructions, maybe get a helping hand and you will be done in no time. Only problem you will have with the assembly is cleaning up.~

This is for the Tribesigns 70.8âExecutive DeskThis one which fit my criteria was as followsPrice range below $200.00 ($177 at time of purchase) â Depth greater than typical 21-24 most desks offer (roughly 30″ for this model) â Length for both 32″ monitors, PC itself and possibly a printer depending on configuration(70.8″ for this model) â No unnecessary cross/x bars or cumbersome shelves/gimmicky storage or placement “solutions” â Thoughts/Fears BEFORE purchasing:Cheap material for the desktop, fragile frame/warped, screw holes not aligned properly/machined in wrong areas, etc the usual.What I ACTUALLY RECEIVED:3 very sturdy, very durable and quality feeling pieces of wood for the desktop that fit flush together.A nicely cut, durable, easy to assemble, metal frame with SEVERAL mounting points for securing together.Easy to follow instructions, several extra screws and bolts with the included tools (L wrench’s) for assembly.Pros : Durable/Sturdy (It feels very good, I weigh about 200lbs myself and sat on it to test, felt no strain.30″ of depth. ( I can not stress enough how much that is compared to typical desks offering 21-25″ at most, it feels GREAT.)No unnecessary shelves, storage solutions/placement options. (a lot of those gimmicky things that mark up the price and over-complicate the build)No cross or x bars that get in the way (Frame is supported by 3 pieces on both sides joined in an H configuration)Cons: No grommets, and the frame runs very close to the edge. As illustrated in picture 2, 3 and 4. I have a monitor mount that originally went through a grommet on my previous desk, this one didn’t have any so I had to use the clamp option. The desks frame runs too close to the edge to and because of that the clamp cant grab the inner or outer edge at any point, (this will be the case for most clamps) Fortunately, I don’t place my mount on the center and my preferred spot happened to be right where one of the support bars is installed. In the 3rd and 4th picture the clamp is secured onto the “T” section of the frame with parts of it not pushing up against anything. This works for me because of placement and it feels just as secure as when I used a grommet in my last desk. If you want to put it in the middle, I was able to make it work just by using the styrofoam block and some cut and taped pieces of cardboard from the packaging and use it to fill the “gap” to secure the clamp just to see if it would work if I wanted to place it in the middle and it held up to a very good amount of stress. If I wanted to put my monitors in the middle I would trust that solution but a wooden block or other piece of material might be better if you have it.TLDR:Great desk, great size, great price, great materials.No grommets, frame runs close to the edge might make securing mounts tricky. Overall recommend this purchase. Can see it being used as a work station, gaming station, 3d printing station, hobby table.

Quality and stylish
Great sturdy table. It takes time to assemble but it is well worth it. I ordered 2 tables, one for computer and printer and one for a work table. They look great, strong and well made.

Decent desk for the price
The 70â desk is nice and big and a fair value. However 2 things I didnât like was the top was 4 separate pieces so getting them to line up perfectly was difficult if not impossible but itâs not a major problem, I just got a large desk mat to cover the seams. The other thing I didnât realize was the metal support frame is very close to the edge with no over hang. So the metal frame lowers the height to which a chair arms can fit underneath to roughly 27â and from the bottom of the frame to the top of the desk is roughly 2.75â with the right chair itâs not much of an issue but it is a slight annoyance.

Great Desk!
Love this desk! Easy to assemble, instructions very clear. Highly recommend. I am 61, completed the assembly in about an hour. Instructions have TIPS – definitely pay attention to those⦠Finished product turned out beautiful. I also purchased a 24×36 desktop protector to make sure it doesnât get scratched up!

Relativement facile à monter mais prévoyez des douleurs aux doigts avec la quantité de vis à visser avec les petites clés en étoiles super chiantes dès qu’il faut forcer un peu à cause du pas de vis.Mais une fois monté il est très beau, très propre et très grand.Je l’utilise comme bureau de gaming, j’ai pu installer un écran Ultra Wide ainsi qu’un autre écran de 23″ incurvé, et il reste de la place.J’adore
