Great addition to our water table — my toddler loves it!
We already had a Step2 water table, and I wanted to make it more exciting for my toddler this summer. This little octopus water pump turned out to be the perfect addition!My son absolutely loves it — the moment we turned it on, he was completely fascinated. The fun octopus design is super cute and colorful, and it really grabs his attention. It adds a playful, imaginative element to water time that keeps him engaged much longer than usual.What I love as a parent is how easy it was to set up. I’m not particularly handy, but I had it installed and working in just a few minutes. It’s lightweight and easy to move around too, so we’ve taken it out to the backyard and even brought it along on a beach trip.Battery life is solid — we’ve gotten several long play sessions out of one charge without any issues. And since it’s rechargeable and cordless, I don’t have to worry about plugs, wires, or constantly replacing batteries. Big plus for safety and convenience!It also feels really well made — no cheap plastic or sharp edges. Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase. It’s made water table play even more fun, and it’s something my son keeps coming back to. Definitely recommend it if you’re looking to upgrade your water table setup!

Worth the Table Modification
I have the purple unicorn water table that is pictured in the product images. This purple octopus water pump seemed like a perfect addition for us, as my toddler constantly wants the water flowing and this would save me from being glued to the table/hose. As other reviews have stated, the most intuitive spot you’d think to put this (and the place it’s pictured in the product images), that has a hole already, the tubing is too large for the hole. Okay, understood.I bought it knowing I’d have to make the hole larger, so no big deal. What I failed to realize is that using that specific hole on this specific table also prevents the use of the hole itself, which is used to move the various spouts and wheels. Oops, my bad.However! Since I was already prepared to make a hole larger, I thought to myself, “Why not just add more holes? Then I can move it around and make things extra fun.”So that’s what we did and I’m so glad! We used a small paring knife to make the new hole and existing holes bigger. I absolutely love this thing and my 2 year old enjoys the heck out of it. Depending on her toddler whims and favorite part of the table that day, we move it around. The most difficult part of having the extra holes is finding a steady place for it, but even that isn’t hard.It is rechargeable and comes with a charging cable, if I recall (no adapter). A single, full charge lasted us about 2 to 3 days, using it multiple times a day, for up to 30 minutes or so. Your mileage may vary.Overall, if you’re okay putting holes or making existing holes bigger on your water table, this little octopus gadget is worth it. Doesn’t last long
Kids loved it at first, but it has very weak pressure. The battery does not last long, and it seems to get weaker after every charge. It’s a great idea but needs a stronger motor and longer battery time. Appreciate that it’s rechargeable though! Also, we didn’t realize we had to drill a hole when one already exists in the table.

Functional
I mean, it’s not GREAT but it’s better than sitting there and manually doing it for your kid who’s not tall enough to do it themselves. I tried filling the top to see if it would just keep it full and it’s doesn’t, but, it does the job.
