Light-weight, Compact, Portable, Good for in-between Tournament Games at the Park or Backyard Fun
This requires 3 triple AAA batteries which are not included but hold a charge fairly well considering the game and the amount of light it produces. This arrived very quickly and was well packaged. This is a great game for kids and/or adults. We like taking it to softball tournaments and setting it up in between our games. You can use it without any batteries, but the lights are obviously pretty cool! We have played cornhole for years so this game is new but we all love it!

Meh
This looks like the listing. I like when it lights up, but it has a huge flaw! The if the battery compartment is pushed in all the way, then the light turns on, even if itâs off. It makes me uncomfortable not being able to have it secured fully. Overall, because of this I wouldnât buy it again.

Nice ladderball set
This is an unconventional set in several areas. First, the horizontal bars are not all the same width. Second, there are some hooks on the upper sides to catch the balls so they don’t slide down to the next rung. Third, the base is actually 2 pieces that easily fold up out of the way for storage and transportation. The set is 2′ wide x 3′ tall. This is smaller than most but great for kids and it makes it more portable. The balls are not hard golf balls but a softer and safer rubber. Because it is somewhat mini the bolos are also a little shorter than most. Although it is easily assembled it would be best if you glued it together to make it more secure. The 2 “legs” would still be foldable. The biggest claim to fame is that the bolos and the horizontal bars light up. This sounds better than it plays. It requires an inordinate number of batteries and if you have children you know they will leave them turned on so count on one or two uses of the batteries. It’s a nice idea but I would save it for adults to use during the evening. It comes with a bag for bolos, directions, and 4 “anchors” to secure the set into the ground for lawn play. The bag is designed to attach to one of the bases but it is a little too small and the bolos easily fall out. Just get a larger bag and problem solved. This is a very good serviceable set for travel and for the younger set. Adults may find it a little small if you play more often and more seriously but it’s great if you’re not too competitive and just want to have some fun. It has some nice and unique features that you will find very handy.

Not worth the money
I was fairly excited to add this game to our outdoor game collection, but it was a flop. The set up is was fairly easy, but the middle colored poles kept falling out if the balls were thrown too hard, the score sliders were tough to move, and if they got bumped, the ladder would fall over easily. It is a nice idea that the ladder would fold up on itself, but you have to undo the bottom brace, which usually ended up popping the bottom pole out and I would have to put the game back together again when we wanted to play. The light up balls are probably the only redeeming part of this game. I didn’t put batteries in the poles because they kept falling out and the battery cover caps didn’t snap in security and I didn’t want batteries all over my back yard. All in all, save your money and buy PVC from the hardware store and make your own. This game is cheaply made, falls apart constantly, and is more work than fun.

Fun With Light Up Bolos
This is such a fun ladderball set! It goes together like your average set with the pvc piping that you have to assemble – lay out the parts before you start to make it easier. The unique part of this set is that the bolos (the balls on the string) light up. You have to open them before using for the first time to remove the insert and they have a cool way for you to open them. You have to use the top of the other ball to open the bottom – it’s very clever. I was waiting for the lights to turn off eventually but I read the instructions and to turn the lights off you will again use the top of the other ball to turn the bottom slightly counterclockwise to turn off. The lights do not seem too bright so while it is fun to have them lit up, they are not super bright. Overall a great set and as a plus there is a little storage bag included for the bolos that attaches to one of the targets to keep them all together. Recommend!

Fun in the Dark & Low Light
These ladders are a lot of fun to use, especially when the sun is going down or in a darkened room. The bars and the balls on the bolos light up using batteries. Adds a fun twist to ladders.Assembly was easy and comes with detailed instructions. There is a nice bag you can attach to hold the bolos. Some cons is why it is not a 5 star:- The lights take some work to correctly sometimes. Was not huge for us but was noted.- The bars don’t light up all the way across consistently (brighter at one end than the other) – not a big deal but noted. Still fun to use.- I hung these up in the garage and one side came undone and hung there long enough that that side now has trouble staying in and will pop out of place. The ladders will not stay totally together if any significant weight is one them while carrying them. Handle with care and you will be fine.- The biggest issue and why I deducted a star – The price seems way too high for the quality (about $66 for us). So I don’t think the value is there price point wise. The fun we’ve had kept it at only it at only one star being deducted rather than 2 stars for the misc issues.

Light weight light-up set
The good:Lights allow night-time play, although the novelty may wear off soon.Easy assembly other than some tight jointsClever folding arrangement for storage and transportation. The bad:Light-up rungs require 12 AAA batteries (not included).Balls have two AG10 button cells each (24 total), which are quite small and may not last long.Switches on balls and rungs are poorly made and unreliable. The fit of the joints ranges from falling-apart loose to very tight. The ladders are made from thin plastic tubes that may get bent and cannot be straightened. The assembled ladders are somewhat flexible — maybe good enough but not too impressive.
