    Bravo!
What an inspirational book for women! After waiting millennia to participate fully in the workplaces of America, our aspirations are becoming reality. This “how to” book is long overdue. Packed with profiles of 100 women at the top of their fields, the anthology features “5 Wisdoms” culled from each individual’s story. Together, these profiled pioneers share their valuable experiences in order to inspire and teach the current generation of females seeking advancement. A treasure trove of information, Women Mean Business explores how to seek and then maximize opportunities. Interestingly, its three authors, themselves, are trailblazers from a formerly restrictive world far different from that of today. Their writing is clear, concise, and expertly organized. Buy this book for yourself and for those women in your life who have the desire to pursue success after success.

    Inspiration from successful women
This is a book of pure inspiration, pure wisdom, from women who have made it to the top of their field. It is advice you want to hear from women who have spent time in the trenches and have climbed to success. The women profiled are from various industries, some self-employed and some corporately employed. They are leaders and inventors, some who were pioneers, some who are difference makers due to innovation. Each leader has a profile, a blurb about her work, and five wisdoms to impart to the reader. It’s the advice your good friend or sister or grandma or mom would give. Except it’s about making it in the business world and in life (generally). It’s about trusting your instincts and about finding your voice and finding your way down your own path, thinking about how you are going to proceed and make a difference in the world; how you will navigate your own journey. This book gives you a compass and options to make those differences — learn from the women who have come before and made it.It’s a really inspirational book overall. I found the format a bit repetitive, but as a one-off or on days you’re feeling down or lost — or need some inspiration, pick a random page and start reading. You’re bound to find a gem.

    Great quality and content
This is a wonderful book for anyone who wants to read the philosophies of successful women, get inspired, and potentially learn new avenues to personal success. It devotes a two-page spread to each successful leader, executive, or business owner that gives a bio about the woman on the left-hand side and their five pearls of wisdom for success that they want to share with others.I’ve read a lot of business books over the years, and for the most part, they all seem to repeat the same advice. While there are some common repeats here, no two women have the same lists, and all of them offer fantastic personal viewpoints on why their top five pieces of wisdom matter most to them and could matter most to others. The writing is approachable and insightful. Editing is well done, which is not an easy task with so many contributors. The layout is easy to follow and colorful, and I love that the women chosen represent a wide range of business areas and expertise. With such diverse advice, everyone is bound to find something new and fascinating here. I certainly did, and I’ve already found that some of the advice has made me consider how I approach success and challenges. It’s a beautiful book, well worth getting, and a lovely addition to my personal growth and business library.

    Diverse profiles of women leaders
I love the diversity in the women that were chosen for this book; they span so many industries, ethnicities, and ages. Each page of the book focuses on a profile of one woman leader then gives a chance for her to share some wisdom with us. I really enjoyed it!
