The authorâs personal stories and insights provide inspiration, while the actionable tips equip you with the tools needed to inspire your team and excel in a competitive environment. Itâs a blend of motivation and practical advice that I found both engaging and helpful. Overall, I believe this is a must-read for aspiring and established leaders alike!

Valid points, BUT . . .
The author makes power points about how women can develop more influence, the importance of advocacy, a growth mindset, resilience, networking, and much more. It’s also absolutely true that command and control power structures are suboptimal. However, what gets down played and the reason I only give this book a 4 star rating is because there still are a lot of command and control business cultures in operation today and foreseeable future. And as long as someone with positional power that you report to feels threatened by the superior leadership skills identified in this book, the more they will keep that glass ceiling in place, giving women a huge headache. This book would have benefited from an additional chapter on how to navigate this obstacle rather than assuming it away.

Worth It
I have to admit that this is a very interesting and needful topic for right now. The world is changing around us at an alarming rate, and AI is at the forefront of it all. The subjects here are so important for women of every age and their role in business moving forward. She discussed key elements that are required as they navigate the business model of the future. As I read it, I was thinking of a friend of mine who is a manager in business and had a very disappointing year-end review. This would be a great help to her. Thank you for writing this needful prep for women of all ages.

A must read for women leaders (new and existing)
This book was a refreshing break from the stereotypical masculine-centered leadership books. I found the concepts to be relatable and easy to understand. As a female leader in a corporate environment, I can see how the shifts discussed in this book are starting to take shape in my company, which made this book all that more valuable and relevant.I found myself highlighting a lot of sections in this book which is a great sign of the amount of value contained within it. I appreciated the practical steps throughout several of the chapters for how to apply the concepts of the book for everything from agile leadership to emotional resilience. As a lover of all things self and professional development, I’ve read quite a few books like this. And yet, this book introduced me to a few concepts that were new.Whether you’re looking for a leadership book for yourself or for a new or experienced leader in your life, I truly believe this book will provide valuable information, concepts, tools and practices. It’s a book that I will certainly return to and read again.
