This Fan/Mister Is Amazing
We started with a similar product from Lowe’s, but wanted something that connected to our garden hose spigot. This fan is MUCH bigger and better. It’s very very strong. Great mist and strong fan speeds. I only write reviews for items that impress me, this is one of those.

Very Easy to Use on Hot Days
This is great when I want to BBQ on a real hot day. Simple to use. Turn water hose on, and small hose, direct the mist and turn on water

Great fan for Texas heat
We purchased this fan for a summer camping trip. It works well. Mist was a little heavy but in the Texas heat we arenât complaining.

Works as advertised. Very powerful despite small size. Well engineered.
The fan is relatively small, yet has 4 misters and a very strong fan motor and is a squirrel cage design. So it has the potential to cover a large area. Even without using the misters, the fan is quite powerful and moves a lot of air. The fan articulates up and down and the fan motor has 3 speeds. There’s no oscillation in any direction. About 16′ is going to be the useful range, which is perfect for me. The fan does make a bit of noise, which is to be expected for one that moves this much air, but I don’t find the noise annoying and it’s actually quite pleasant as it provides basically white background noise which drowns out most of the other noises in my neighborhood yet isn’t loud enough to drown out normal conversation. The handle makes it easy to move around. My initial impression is the fan looks and feels quite sturdy and would take a fair amount of abuse. The handle is designed to wrap the hose and cord around, so it packs up easily when not in use.I was up in the air between this fan or the Lasko 7050. After reading some of the complaints that the Lasko had limited range I decided to go with this one since it has a more powerful motor. I’m quite glad I did as this small fan will easily cover my entire 16×13 patio. Summers here in Texas are incredibly hot, yet this little fan makes my patio usable even in the hottest part of the day in July.. As someone pointed out, if you are too close to the fan you are going to get quite wet fairly quickly the reason being it puts out a considerable amount of mist. This is great for kids if they want to get misted quickly and then go play. To cover a larger area for constant use requires aiming the fan higher and letting the mist rain down on you. As the fan articulates up and down, this is no problem. I have a ceiling fan on my porch, so I aim the mist just below that fan and the result is my entire porch gets covered without soaking anyone. The down side is the misters aren’t really adjustable as far as the volume of water they put out, although the fan has 3 speeds. So you can adjust how far the mist goes, but not the amount. I suspect the misters are standard and could probably be easily replaced with ones that put out different volumes of water.Unless your water supply is quite soft, I recommend getting a calcium inhibiting filter. The owner’s manual recommends taking the misters out after each use and drying them along with periodic washings. Most people won’t do this and without a calcium inhibitor you’re likely to clog up the misters in short order otherwise which happens with all misting fans. The hose reaches about 8-9′ and the electrical cord is about the same, so unless your spigot and outlet are close, you’ll need an extension. The hose does use standard John Guest fittings, so it’s possible to buy a longer hose at an aquarium supply or hardware store and it would be easy to replace. You could also easily buy John Guest T-connectors and run multiple fans off a single supply if you are the least bit handy. The packaging of the box leaves a little to be desired. In my case the box arrived in perfect condition and the fan is relatively sturdy, so I had no issues, but I could see with a bit of rough shipping the fan could easily be damaged. In summary, despite the small limitations, this fan is quite powerful in both volume of air and mist, so I think you’d have a hard time finding better at the price point. I’m quite happy so far with my purchase.

Necessary for Phoenix summers
When temps are regularly above 110 in Phoenix summers, it’s too hot to enjoy the outdoors without a few things: the pool, ceiling fan under patio, and this fan! I had a misting system along the perimeter of the covered patio but it accumulated so much moisture along the wood frame I was concerned it would cause wood damage. So I purchased this fan instead. It’s a powerful fan! And the misting feature feels like a gust of air conditioning. I would suggest removing the nozzles after each use and soak in CLR so water doesn’t sit in nozzles after turning off as when it dried calcium deposits build up. By doing this I haven’t had issues with clogged nozzles which is common with all misting systems. They are simple to remove, soak, and put back on.

I bought this for my cat
I have an outdoor cat who doesn’t want to be in the air-conditioned house but would rather go outside and sleep in the covered patio when it’s 100+ outdoors. Live in Dallas. The cat likes it. I have to move it around to where he likes it and it helps to keep him cool. I’ve had it a week and so far no issues. Just plug it in and mist comes out. Turning on the fan is optional to blow the mist. The solution included adding a water faucet splitter so I can control the water to this fan and the water to the garden hose separately. It came with a little plastic valve which has a lever to turn the valve on/off. This part leaked on me no matter how I tried to mess with the gasket and used teflon tape. I didn’t need it after I bought the faucet splitter. In Dalas, if I point the fan to blow horizontally, the ground in front gets all wet. If I point it up at 30-45 degrees, nothing gets wet.Good product. so far

Fog heads require constant tweaking
I bought exactly the same model as I had before and I can honestly say I’m not near as impressed with it as I was the old one

Great product for those hot days lounging on the patio. It cools the air around you and it can mist you if you desire. My only beef is that the plug in cord could be longer for outdoor sockets as they are not always in a convenient place.

Iâve had this for a couple years now Iâve had it in for repair the front part where the water connects it leaks the first one I had leaked they repaired it and now it leaks again I wouldnât recommend it. They need to do some engineering to fix this issue Iâm hoping to glue it this summer time hopefully thatâll work.
