I rarely write positive reviews, but I had to on this because I obsessed and distressed over this purchase and I hope this helps someone else make a good purchase.This is exclusive to me and my experience so you might not have the same, but I hope you do.I’m glad I bought these. And I thought I would offer my insight after I got the boards and bags.The first negative – all the bean bags were the same color – BLUE. No problem for me. I assumed from the ratings that they would break on the first throw anyway and had ordered a back-up set. But that didn’t matter for the game.I researched every cornhole board on the Amazon site. I read all of the reviews on each. I read all the negative reviews on this one a few times and moved on, but then went back and read again one last time. In spite of the negative reviews, there was so many positive that I figured I would take my chances.Fortunately, I did not experience anything like some of the negative reviews posted (and I’m sorry it didn’t work out for some of you).I’m not a Cornhole professional. I just got this to have some fun with my kids.The construction is solid. The boards were perfect for me. Good size. The bags hit and slid, and… well… it was just a lot of fun. I did not notice anything imperfect or out-of-the-ordinary. The legs fold up-and-down. The bean bags had some sort of corn, beans or ceramic pieces, but it was not sand and there was no dust that emitted from them. They weighed between 13.7 and 14 oz, with most of them weighing 13.8 oz. This is not “offical”, but it’s like throwing a can of soda or beer with a couple of extra ounces, so plenty of weight for me. They were not “official size” at 5″ x 5.25″, but they fit/ covered my hand which is a little smaller than medium size. They didn’t break on the first throw, but we also only tossed them for 15 minutes. Then my kids started knocking them out of the air as we tossed at the boards. They soon resorted to throwing them at each other, at which point the dog picked them up and ran around the yard with them as we chased him. None of them tore! We played for at least an hour throwing them at the boards, each other, knocking them out of the air, and the dog running with them. Some of the bags (as would be expected) got some dirt on them from all of the playing. I wiped most of it off. Doubt I will try to wash them.When we were done playing I wiped the boards down and tried to wipe off the dirt-stained fabric on the bags. I took some photos so I could rate this and zipped it up in the carrying case. Initially, the zipper did not zip, but I tried it a second time and it closed together.The boards are heavy, but not too heavy. No heavier than a piece of luggage you would take on an airplane. If the bags are actually 16 ounces each (they are not, they are about 14 oz), then that’s 8 pounds. I would guess the boards are 15-20 pounds each. Probably 40-45 pounds when you carry it all together in the carrying case. Probably could paint something on them or coat them with polyurethane if you wanted. They are not finished.There were a couple of tiny blemishes where the fasteners penetrated the wood, but they don’t affect the use of the boards.All-in-all, this is a great set of Cornhole boards. I would guess that they are way better than a smaller 2×3 board and definitely glad I didn’t get smaller, aluminum, plastic or fabric set of boards.I just wanted to have some fun with a decent board and bags and I got that. I’m not professional or serious about it. My kids are 14, 15 and 16 and they had a good time, even if we didn’t follow the rules. Might have actually been funny though if one of the bags had broken when hitting someone in the head as they were doing.I won’t leave them out in the weather though. I’m quite sure they would warp. The storage bag is really great. Makes it easy to load them up and store them.

Excellent value, with some caveats
I did a lot of research before buying a Cornhole game set. I wanted a simple set, not too expensive, not printed with logos of pro sports teams, easy to set-up. I read a lot of online reviews for competing products. This Cornhole set is a great value compared to the competition.This Cornhole set had a simple design that I could tell would be easy to set-up and would stay up. I think the appearance is nice and appealing. It definitely does not look “cheap” to me. It also comes with a travel bag, and is easy to set-up and take down.Three things you should know:(1) The bean bags are *not* regulation weight. They are approximately 6″ wide, but the weight is more like 11 oz per bag rather than the regulation 16 oz. We’re really beginner players and don’t play often, so it’s not like we’re preparing to play competitively. We just wanted a simple, not-expensive Cornhole set for backyard play.(2) The stitching of one the bean bags came undone after only 30-60 minutes of play. I complained to the vendor, and they responded appropriately, even sending me a few extra bags as backup bags and for our trouble. It wasn’t hard to sew the open bag close and make it usable again, but I thought I should let the vendor know about the problem and give them an opportunity to provide good customer service. They did, and hopefully they will improve the quality of the stitching.(3) I wanted a set that was “all-weather” that I could just leave on the lawn all the time. The plastic sets I saw online looked less appealing and other purchasers said that the plastic sets didn’t always stay up due to how they were designed. I think I remember that there were some “all-weather” wood sets available but they were like 4x more expensive. So I gave up on “all-weather”, Instead, I just plan to not leave this Cornhole set out in the yard all the time and set it up each time when we want to play or have a party. They’re light enough and easy to setup.Regarding portability: They’re light enough and come with a travel bag. The game boards don’t have any kind of obvious hand-grip but they’re still easy to carry.Regarding sturdiness: They seem sturdy enough to me, but I have no idea how well they will tolerate abuse as I don’t plan to abuse them. If you have rambunctious children or teenagers who might stand or jump on the game boards, I don’t know how well they hold up to that kind of abuse.
