Affordable and functional mics with a bit of a learning curve
These microphones are good for the price. I’ve had no connectivity issues. Once the transmitter is plugged into a device, any recorded audio is automatically picked up through the microphones. I’ve yet to use these mics past their charging time – and I’ve recorded for several hours at a time – and after plugging them in, they seem to charge very quickly. The only negative that I’ve noticed is that if clipped to my collar or shirt front, these microphones tend to pick up any reverb from my chest, which can result in a weird rumbly sound. I would advise either making sure there is some padding between the mic and your body or just holding the microphone or clipping it to a stand instead. Like I said, for the price, I’m okay with having to make a few tweaks as a tradeoff for affordability.

So Far So Good. Lightning Port Slightly Short
The mics are working well so far. I tested them using an iPhone 16 Pro Max and iPhone 13 Pro Max. The receiver works with both my phones and can connect to both mics out of the box.I have a Spigen Classic C1 case on my iPhone 16, and the receiver will fit and plug in with the USB C flipped in either direction without issue. Thatâs case is a medium sized case. The USB side might be okay with a thicker size case on too, maybe, with the lightning port set over the screen. I donât have a thicker case to test the lighting port right now.However, the lightning port side of the receiver is slightly shorter than the USB port.I have a Spigen Tough Armor case on my iPhone 13, and thatâs a thicker, chonky, case. The receiver doesnât quite plug in with this thicker case on, because the lightning port is too short. With the case on, the receiver almost plugs in when the USB C is over the screen, but the bottom side of the case is too thick, so the lightning port isnât quite long enough to make the connection. I have photos of the iPhone 13 Pro Max plugged in without the case, showing the green light on and fully connected to demonstrate this.The sound quality seems quite good for the price. The noice canceling mode filters out background noise a fair amount without altering the sound too much. Other mics with noise canceling will be add a tinny or mechanical feel to the sound, and this doesnât do that too much. The natural sound mode without noise canceling sounds slightly more natural, of course. I tested both sound modes while standing below my loud bathroom fan. If you have to record in a noisy environment, Iâd use the noise cancelling mode. The natural mode in a controlled environment would sound slightly better, but I wouldnât worry about using the noise canceling mode by accident, because the quality sounds pretty close. I say that because the mic defaults to the noise canceling mode when you turn it on.The reverb mode, aka the KTV mode, according to the instructions is interesting. It sure does add some reverb. Idk why anyone would want to add reverb during recording as opposed to just adding reverb in post but whatever.The case is also nice. The plastic does feel light and cheap, but it also has magnets to make it feel a bit more sturdy in holding everything together. Thereâs magnets to snap the mics and receiver in place, and thereâs a magnet to close the case, so I was impressed with that. Having the case at all is also a nice bonus, so overall, for 30 bucks Iâd say this is a very good case as far as function over feel.

Good Quality, Nice Features, One Design Flaw
Overall, I love the features, feels very high quality, good sound clarity and range. Docking 1 star because the way it’s designed with both lightening and USB-C prongs back to back makes it unusable with most cases. Out of 4 phones we tried it with, only one could stay in its case and use the receiver, the others needed to be fully removed from their cases for the receiver module to fit.

Not bad for the price
For the price I have been fairly happy with these. I like that it comes with a charging case making travel easy and always having them at 100% battery. My real gripe is with the sound quality. If you have them at a reasonable distance they still tend to record audio that is too loud making things distorted and sound bad. They need to be pretty far away and then the audio is fairly good for what it is. I also wish the clip could swivel for better placement options but like I said the price point is really good for what you get. If you want something with better quality you are likely going to need to spend at least 2x-3x more than these. If you are on a budget then buy these and get to creating!

I have tried everything to get this to work, it is fully charged, it pairs correctly, the receiver fits the iPhone 12 but it simply does NOT work. I was only testing this indoors at 3 metres so there should no issue with sound not being clear. I tried emailing customer service without success, the email bounced back advising that my message was spam!!This unit has received rave reviews, they cant all be fake, I guess I was unlucky, but will be buying a better known brand as a replacement.
