Overall Great Projector for the Price
I recently purchased this Google TV projector, and it has exceeded my expectations in almost every way. Before this, I had considered some cheaper Android projectors. But even if they had built-in apps, youâd still need to buy an extra TV stick to download anything beyond Netflix and YouTube. Otherwise, you’re stuck using web versions of the apps, which are much lower in video quality. So whatâs the point of a âsmartâ projector if you still need additional devices? The K12 doesnât have that problem. It comes with a built-in Google TV system, so you can access nearly all the apps you need right out of the box, and the interface is clean and easy to use.I just projected it directly onto a white wall at home â the image quality is crisp and clear, the built-in speakers are good enough for casual viewing, and the fan is quiet, which makes it perfect for long movie nights. At this price point, itâs an excellent value and performs really well. I highly recommend it for home entertainment or even light business use.

Solid Projector
This projector has real, built-in Google TVânone of that knockoff Android stuffâso all your favorite streaming apps like Netflix, Disney+, and YouTube are ready to go, no sideloading or weird workarounds. As soon as you take a look at the home screen, you can immediately see the difference â those knock-off systems usually run web versions or unofficial versions of apps, which are hard to navigate, hard to update, and many apps aren’t even supported. This one, just log into your accounts and start watching. The voice control is super convenient tooâjust hold the button and say things like âPlay Duneâ or âOpen Netflix,â and it actually works. Brightness-wise, it packs high ANSI lumens, which means you donât need a pitch-black room to enjoy it. Even with some lights on, it still looks great. Plus, setup is effortlessâauto focus and auto keystone do all the adjusting for you, so the picture is clear and aligned in seconds.

You are going to *love* this SMART projector! Are you a fan of online video content?
I have been on Amazon more often recently because of things I needed, and noticed this projector in the new items listings.I had a projector already, and use it when I want to watch a DVD from my collection, or perhaps a movie from the early days, 1940-50s era. What stood out with this one was the ability to play video from streaming services. Before I go on, let me explain that while extended family living in and near city have TVs that can do that, I do not. My TVs are just TV, and connected to an antenna because I do not live in the city and Cable TV and such services are not available here.BUT, not long ago, the local power company brought fiber optic internet here for us country living folks. And I signed up for it. I did have internet prior to that, but it was too slow for video. So this projector, as a replacement for my current projector, seemed very interesting. I ordered it on the spot.It arrived, I unboxed it, and also got sick for most of a week, and just let it sit.I finally beat that bad cold, and set the projector up. It worked well with the old sources I had been using. It does wonderful AutoFocus!!! There is no manual focus ring at all!!!I also does auto-keystone, which is adjusting the size and shape of the picture to the screen. That worked some, but not perfectly. The reason probably is my screen and projector setup, which also has the projector not square to the screen horizontally OR vertically. Subsequently, it starts way off and must adjust a lot. But manual tweaking is easy and doesnât take long.Once done, you should turn auto-keystone off, and perhaps auto-focus even thought the focus is always perfect. Turning these off means faster startup.Do get the manual you can get from their site. It has much more detail.BTW, the remote is wonderful, as it has all the normal functions all there and easy to find.I was already favorably impressed. And then, chose to connect to my wifi to see how well that worked.AND WOW. This projector must have a small computer inside, because it can load apps for all the popular and even lesser known video streaming services.Which leads to why this review took longer to write that it should have.I got so wrapped up in all the sources and videos it could do, I found it hard to turn away from it.This is a fantastic replacement for my previous projector, and the DVD/Blueray and laptop computer I have been using! All WITHOUT the wires needed before! It is a 100 inch (my screen size) smart TV!I also connected to bluetooth speakers, and got even better sound. The speaker I the projector does really well by itself, but get a pair of bluetooth and it is fantastic. Also, I wonder IF a bluetooth keyboard would work with this projector for setup of Wifi etc. I will have to ask the helpline; I do not have one to test with.[Update from tech support: The Bluetooth mouse works with the projector; the left button functions as the confirm key, and the right button as the back key.No answer yet on the Bluetooth keyboard]In summary, I love it. And will replace my older projector, which will be relegated to giving presentations at meetings.I do wish it had 2 HDMI, and 2 USB inputs. [Update from tech support: there are 2 HDMI ports, but one is used internally for the Google TV Stick]The old one did, and I used them. This new one has only 1 of each. Due to the Smart TV access though, most wonât need the inputs. And maybe I donât?If you want a SmartTV like experience with a projector, this is IT!

Excellent Projector – Google TV
Awesome projector, great image quality and the sound quality is not terrible by any means. Works good with the bluetooth ceiling speakers so that isn’t a problem. Great for the kids game room and serves its purpose. Had a small problem with the remote randomly going out on me – did all the normal troubleshooting and had no issue with another Bluetooth remote as its traditional Google TV. Contacted support and had a super fast response with a remote on the way. Just received it today and happy to report its working properly and we are back in business! Support is EXCELLENT – highly recommend leadership give them all raises as their response time and friendliness was suburb. Thank you!

Doesn’t support google home. Controller not dependable. Still a good buy.
I have been using this as my main tv in our family room for nearly a month now. A HUGE disappointment for me is that it doesn’t connect to google home for use with google assistant. The voice controls only work on the controller. That works well when the controller will stay connected, but we have had a lot of issues there. This is the main reason I am giving this a lower rating. It works about 90% of the time. That other 10% can be very frustrating. There really isn’t another way to control the projector since there aren’t any buttons to control the functions on the actual projector. This usually resolves itself after a minute or two max. When it works, the fact that the controller is Bluetooth, is actually great because you don’t have to point the controller at the projector. You can just point it at the picture like a normal TV remote. The picture is excellent when the room is properly darkened. Otherwise, its passable. The audio is not great, but it connects really well to my Bluetooth surround sound so that’s easily solved as well. Overall, I think the value for money ratio is high.

The K12 projector was very easy to setup. I had it up and running in just a few minutes. The auto focus feature is new and works well, as my previous projector did not have this feature. I have it set to project onto my 100″ projection screen and found it very easy to set it up to fill the complete screen from within my room. I was very surprised with the brightness that the 1000 Lumens produces and also the vivid colors, especially when watching F1 racing. I was also very pleased by the quality and size of the picture. I see that it now includes HDMI ARC support, but I did not try it, as my stereo does not have an HDMI input. Regardless I was able to use the audio output to connect to my surround sound stereo and was able to get great surround sound. The Google TV built into this is an added bonus, as it provides seamless access to many streaming services and apps, so that you no longer need to use an external device like Amazon Fire TV stick or Google TV (extra costs).I should note that this unit includes only one HDMI port, which is all I really need. This one port apparently can be used for either HDMI input or HDMI ARC output. There is an option in the configuration to turn on/off the HDMI ARC support.I am very happy with this projector and feel it’s good quality and value compared to other much more expensive ones and definitely recommend it. They also provides after-sales customer support (via email), a 2-YEAR money-back guarantee, 3-YEAR repair coverage, and lifetime technical support, so you can’t go wrong.

Iâve had my eye on the PUTRIMS K12 projector for quite some time now. For those whoâve read my previous projector reviews, youâll know Iâm a professional cinematographer by trade, so projectors hold a special place in my heart. After all, it was in the cinema where I first fell in love with the magic of filmmaking. Before diving into the technical details and features of the PUTRIMS K12, I highly recommend watching the video Iâve included with this review (please ignore my broken white lamp in the bottom right of the video, I forgot to move it before filming). Now, for this test, I chose a specific scene from the Australian masterpiece ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’. I believe this scene is the ultimate “torture test” for any projector – itâs packed with intense highlights, deep shadows, vibrant colours, and fast-paced action – if a projector can handle this scene, it can handle just about anything. As with my previous reviews, I set-up my professional-grade Sony A7S III camera with a 35mm lens, positioning it as precisely as possible to align with the PUTRIMS K12’s point-of-view (check my review photos for a better visual of my test set-up). This set-up ensures you get the most accurate representation of the stunning image quality the K12 delivers. However, this time I decided to try something different: I also filmed the same scene from the side using just my Google Pixel 8 phone. I then cut back and forth between the footage from my professional camera and my phone in order to give you a more balanced perspective of the PUTRIMS K12âs amazing performance. As you can see from my review video, the PUTRIMS K12 performed brilliantly! Bright and well-controlled highlights, great contrast with preserved shadow detail, rich colours, and great sound! Whatâs truly remarkable is that even when viewed through the lens of a phone camera – far less capable than my professional camera – the image produced by the PUTRIMS K12 is nothing short of breath-taking – itâs a testament to just how impressive this projector is!Regarding the technical aspects of the PUTRIMS K12 – it boasts an impressive 1200 ANSI lumens – double the brightness of my previous projector. Even if your room isnât pitch-dark like mine, youâll still enjoy a bright, vibrant image with excellent contrast and colour-accuracy. It can decode 4K content effortlessly, though it projects in Full HD 1080P, which remains incredibly sharp (as youâll see in my review video). The dynamic-range is outstanding, delivering deep, punchy contrast with bright highlights and inky blacks, while still preserving fine shadow details. The colours are rich and lifelike – so much so that I compared it to my professional colour-grading monitor (known for its precise colour rendering) and to my surprise, the K12âs colour reproduction was nearly identical- for a projector in this price range, thatâs truly exceptional! The sound quality is equally impressive. Like most projectors, thereâs a slight hum from the internal cooling fan, but once the film starts playing, it becomes completely unnoticeable. The built-in speakers are a standout feature. In my review video, I cranked the volume up, and even with all the action and chaos in the scene, the dialogue remained crystal clear with no distortion. The bass is well-balanced – present but not overwhelming. Itâs clear that a lot of thought went into the audio design, striking a perfect balance between clarity and power. On the connectivity front, the K12 comes with officially licensed Google TV, giving you access to all your favourite apps and streaming services via the Google Play Store. It also supports Google Voice Assistant for hands-free control. You can play your own media via the USB port or HDMI, and if you prefer wireless streaming, it features Bluetooth 5.2 and WiFi 6. I tested the Bluetooth by casting family videos from my Google Pixel 8 and it worked flawlessly. Connecting to my home network was a breeze, too – thanks to WiFi 6, it paired instantly with my TP-Link AX73 Router. If youâve ever felt a little overwhelmed by the idea of setting up a projector, let me put your mind at ease – the PUTRIMS K12âs Auto Keystone and Auto-Focus features are hands down the most impressive and accurate Iâve ever encountered. I didnât have to lift a finger to get the image perfectly aligned. From the moment I powered it on, the K12 took care of everything – adjusting the focus, correcting the keystone, and delivering a flawlessly aligned image â and I havenât had to adjust a single setting since! The precision of the horizontal and vertical alignment is nothing short of remarkable (again, see my review video). For those curious about the projected image I achieved – I managed a massive 295cm (116 inches) image, corner to corner, by placing the projector roughly 330cm (120 inches) away! My bedroom has now been transformed into my very own personal IMAX theatre. The image is so immersive, it practically wraps around you and pulls you into the film.Ultimately, with a projector of this calibre, is becomes more than just watching a movie â it becomes an experience – and itâs absolutely phenomenal. If youâre dreaming of creating your own cinema-quality experience at home, I highly recommend the PUTRIMS K12. Itâs incredibly user-friendly, delivers stunning image quality, and comes packed with every smart feature and connectivity option you could possibly need – all at a price that feels almost too good to be true.Give it a try â I am sure you are going to love it as much as I do!

I recently purchased the Putrim K12 projector, and Iâm really impressed with its performance as a Google TV projector. The built-in Google TV makes streaming a breezeâsuper easy to access Netflix, YouTube, and more right out of the box. The picture quality is sharp and vibrant, and the auto-focus and keystone features make setup a snap. Itâs been great for movie nights at home! My only suggestion for improvement would be to include a quality sound system with a bit more bass and punchâthe built-in speakers are decent, but an upgrade here would take the experience to the next level. Overall, a solid buy for the price!
