I’ve never been so excited to write a review lol. This is SUCH a well designed and engineered product.I’m a fire pit aficionado….When I drive to travel, there is often a fire pit in the cargo area. 🤣But when you fly?There’s this fire pit! It’s heavy, but it’s understandable. It EASILY fits flat in a carryon if you don’t mind slugging the extra weight. I think 15 ish pounds, although it feels a little heavier because it’s so compact.My only request would be a solid plate with drain on the bottom to make clean up easier…The current bottom is ventilated.The 22.5 inch was a great compromise for a decent size fire and easy portability.We fit 3-5 good size logs with no issue.I can’t imagine this thing could ever break or otherwise fail.It was super easy to assemble and break down. I would suspect you over time need to occasionally buy more pins that hold it together securely. They give you extras and they can easily be picked up at a hardware store as needed.I also find the price super reasonable (50 ish at the time of this review), which you can’t say about many things today.Thanks for creating a great product!10/10 recommend!

Great portable firepit.
Love this firepit. 1 person can put it together. Though it takes a little longer. Once put together, it stays together. Will not fall apart when moving. Packs up into a nice little bag for travel. We have stayed at camp grounds that don’t have a pit but allow to have fires. The size is perfect.

Practical and easy to assemble.
Easy to assemble, practical and provided even distribution of heat. We used it for tailgating at a game and 2 people in our group ordered it too

High hopes, almost meets them
So I’ve been looking for a portable fire pit that packs up moderately small, but encloses a fire well. This is so close to doing that. Sturdy, once put together and secured it’s not going to come apart. I’d prefer some nuts and bolts rather than the cotter pins, since those will eventually break, but they included several extras and they’re fairly thick so will take a while. The steel is pretty thick and being powder coated ash & such doesn’t stick very well. The powder coating also sees well applied, had a fire going for hours and got it pretty hot too, and doesn’t seem to have had any real issues or anything, although perhaps long term usage it might wear some. The jigsaw put together only takes a little bit of time, and once all put together is locked in place even better than I thought it would be.My biggest issue is that in an fairly unprotected area, any significant breeze or wind will start kicking out lots of sparks and burning bits. I’d LOVE a version of this, even with straight walls, that are ~8-12″ taller (yes, will make it bulkier to pack up) walls that have many fewer holes. A row of smaller ones along the bottom of the wall, and some along the top of the wall. Think more Solo Stove. This would greatly increase keeping the fire & sparks contained for camping situations.The slots along the bottom are good, although a fair amount of ash and hot coals can drop out the bottom, but that’s what brick or fire blanket or the like is for.I would love the feet to add 1-2″ in height as well, that’d be useful.Overall, can recommend for general backyard use, but I wouldn’t recommend for camping out in the open where you might get a breeze and could set a fire on accident. I’d LOOOOVE to buy a different version with walls of ~20-24+” tall with better design to contain the fire in event of wind. I’d definitely pay for that.
