Only MONO, but pretty easy to upgrade storage. Sound quality is okay.
Beware, even though the first image might imply this is stereo, it is NOT, as can be seen from the 1st attached photo of a single microphone inside. The storage medium is just an internal MicroSD card that can be upgraded with zero issues. Opening the device is easy, it is just 4 external screws that hold the case together and 2 internal ones that hold the PCB.

It will randomly turn itself on even when itâs off and play past recordings. The buttons remind me of a mid 2000s mp3 player (in a bad way.) it really could be simplified with less buttons.

Charged it up, used it off and on for a few hours, a couple days later, pulled it out of my bag to use it again, BATTERY DEAD. Not cool at all.Picks up voices/ sounds that are in close proximity to recorder. Plays them back loud and clear. This is good.BUTTTTT, I need a recorder to catch my class lecture. Iâm in the front row, 6 ft from teacher and struggle to hear her voice on the recorder.NOT HAPPY.

Iâm really impressed with how clear the recordings are on this device. The AI noise reduction works great, even in busy environments like classes or meetings. Itâs easy to use, super compact, and the 64GB storage means I donât have to worry about running out of space. Perfect for capturing lectures or interviews on the go.

Super great for recording lectures discretly. I also own a Sony ICD UX 570, and honestly i far prefer this. I lost my original one and have to buy twice now. Be sure to keep tabs on this little fella, but i loved it enough to buy again.Only two small cons: 1) non-removable storage means you gotta remember to empty, i just did 128gb so i wouldnt have to worry, 2)non powered usbc which would be cool for usbc-wireless microphones but its not like anyone on the market is offering this yet; only smartphones and action cameras currently provide this feature.Crazy cool feature: auto-wake-up scheduled recording. Never seen a recorder with this before, i can just program my lecture time of day and duriation and it will start recording on queue.Battery is great, rapid startup, one switch record, fits in with my current usbc cable system; overall i love it. If i could rate 6/5 i would. Just wish i didnt lose my last one.

This voice recorder is really small. I’m using it in uni lectures to help refer back when writing up my notes. I like the size as it’s easy to throw in my bag without adding weight. The audio quality seems good enough for what I need, although when the lecturer walks around the volume doesn’t fluctuate but I suppose that’s to be expected. The battery is pretty good. It claims 24 hours and I haven’t exactly time it but I’ve used it for maybe 3 weeks of lectures and it’s fine so far.

Overall I am happy with this recorder. I would be happier if the manufacturer just gave real battery life expectations. I now see this is a new product, available since February 2025 so maybe the line in volume problem is simply a bug they can fix in a newer release. I asked the manufacturer questions but they have not responded. I would like to give it 5 stars but I can only give it 4.5 stars, which is still really good.Pros:⢠Well built⢠Small size⢠Lots of features, some I like are:â Section playbackâ Variable speed playbackâ Line in recordingâ Built in microphones, stereo recordingâ Long battery life. Not 30 hours as claimed but 15.5 hoursâ Huge memory for recordingsâ Built in speakerâ Built in equalizerâ Gain controlâ Volume control⢠Speaker sounds good⢠Needed cables are includedCons:⢠Battery life is only about half of that specified, 15.5 hours.⢠Recordings from the line in feature need to be amplified by about 316 times to make them audible. I used the freeware Audacity to do this. Recordings using the built in microphone are great and do not need any amplification.⢠Although it uses a USB-C connector it does not have USB-C speeds. Transfer speeds varied a bit but were around 1.7MBs. It takes about 8 minutes to transfer a 1 hour recording.⢠Every now and then it loses the date and time. I wasn’t able to determine under what conditions this happens because it seems to just happen on its own. Not a big deal since it hasn’t happened while recording.

Absolutely fantastic product! Arrived in perfect condition. I was thrilled to find it’s solid metal, not cheap plastic â feels incredibly robust and firm. For the price, it absolutely delivers; in fact, it exceeded my expectations. One tip: definitely grab a good leash when you order! Setup was a breeze, just read the simple manual, and Windows recognized it instantly. Most importantly, the sound quality is crystal clear and high, and the noise cancelling is superb. Highly recommend!
