Good for 3 – great for the windy days at the beach!
Used this at the beach on several windy days – worked great, and is easy to set up once you have done it once. Light to carry around and quick set up/tear down; since the bags are attached it makes for easy time with filling. After using at the beach, we want to use it at the lake too with rocks instead. Flexible, durable, fabric – held up well our trip and seems to wash well. We used the shade for 2 people + our medium-large dog and it worked well; you might have been able to squeeze in a 3rd as well. This is packaged really well also for transport – the bag it comes with actually fits all the accessories after the first use, and it comes with ties for the poles that you can also use to keep together for storage, loved that feature. Comes with a shovel as well for sand (plastic; not good for other digging). Great buy, excellent price!

Light weight, small , worked well
I used this for 2 weeks on FT Lauderdale beach.Pros- light weight, packs small , easy to fit in luggage, fits 2 people plus gear. Sets up breaks down in minutes by one person in light wind , good construction. Easily for in my backpack to go to the beachCons – harder to set up in winds above 10 mph. Easier with 2 people. The windier it is , the trickier it is.Hints- when you fill the corner pouches with sand, dig a hole and put the pouch in the hole. Don’t use yellow stakesYellow stakes – don’t work if used vertically , tie cord to center of stake , dig a hole 12in deep and put stake in hole horizontally , push stake into sand sideways ……then bury it ..works great that wayCord….has. Line tightened on one end. Instructions don’t tell you how to use it….tht end goes on top , use it to tighten cord.Face opening into the wind…..if this isn’t good for you, get the size with 4 poles. It can be set up any direction., but it bigger nd heavierIt takes a few tries setting it up and messing with it, in the end it worked great for usWe used it as a wind shield one day, just put sand on the lower end and it worked great ……I’d don’t mind fiddling with things so I’d buy it again,

Difficult for one person to set up!!!
Difficult to set up for one person! Man or woman! A nice man on the beach offered his assistance and it was much appreciated! Once it was up it was okay. The stakes were not strong enough to bury in the sand! When I took it down it was difficult to get the poles apart because of the sand! I finally got all but one section of one pole apart, but I couldn’t get it in my bag to carry on the plane! I donated it to a charity Thrift Store!
