Great for sorting subects.
My 1 inch books were getting too small. Now I can expand my files like Address book, cooking, House Inventory, Medical information and others. Love the colored! Yes they aren’t super strong. My intentions were to make sure subjects were kept sorted. Also, I wont be moving the books around a lot anyway. But they will keep doc. separated and dry. They hold way over 400 pages with sheet protectors. They have pockets all over the book so you can label it. They have nice pockets inside. So if your in a rush. You could put papers inside them for when you have time to sort. This was a good value.

I buy a lot of equipment at auctions and download manuals from the internet. I print them out and save them in 3 ring binders. These are great for some of the larger manuals. Prices are reasonable.

BOY….do I feel like a a$$
I gave them 1 star on my first review….thought they measured the binders by the thickness of the binder. They measure the binders by the rings not by the width of the binder itself…..lesson learned. I needed 4 binders 2 inches thick to fit in a space of 9″….much to my surprise they were 3″ wide….didn’t work. With that being said…I had to reorder smaller rings 1.5 inch….no matter which ones you buy, they’re pretty well made….can’t beat the price.

Easy to open and close the rings. This is important to me because when the rings open and close smoothly I do not accidentally pinch any fingers! I plan to purchase more in the future.
