Does exactly what it says it does
This works EXACTLY as described and it took me less than a minute to set up. The Bluetooth pairing was ridiculously easy. Highly recommend if you have a cell line, but have someone who has trouble operating a cell phone. We were able to keep our regular push button corded phone with answering machine, and the unit does not interfere with the function at all. Very pleased with this cell2jack product.

    It works! Reviving classics 😁
It works! Seller is extremely helpful. If you have an older phone it will still work, you just gotta know what to do. Rings like the classic it is, and the rotary dial works too. Do note, that if you don’t have a dtmf keypad it will be difficult to change settings without the computer link. So far, im very pleased. My first unit didn’t work too well, once the new one showed up it was plug and play.

    It really works
The cell2jack worked as advertised. The setup was very simple and it connected immediately. It operates my home AT&T phone system (TL86109) seamlessly. Callers notice no difference between my old landline connection and the cell2jack connection through my cell. Note I did have to purchase a new 16e iPhone, my old iPhone 6 wouldn’t connect but I expected that. Very happy with the product. It will pay for it self each month in the fee saved for the landline.

    Works great!
It works great! I had my landline transferred to a cell service phone that resides near my base station for my old landline. Cell Jack plugs in to my landline base and connects by bluetooth to the cell phone. I can use any of my set of old phones that are spread around the house! (The only phone that doesn’t hook up is my very old corded phone)

Useful when charging, but with some flaws
I’ve been using this for roughly 3 weeks & I’ve found while it does allow me to continue using my Panasonic KX-TGD220 (wireless phone) using my cell as the main, it does have some flaws & ultimately I decided I was only going to use it while charging the phone.First thing you’ll need to know is that it’s best to leave your cellphone next to the Cell2Jack when you intend on using a phone connected to it, this allows for the strongest signal to the phone. Most people will have their cell on them when not charging it, so it may be more ideal to speak on the cell instead if not near the Cell2Jack as you’ll get a better signal that way. I have found that I don’t get a very good signal on the cell in the bathroom (no windows & I have a metallic roof), so this is one case where it’s more ideal to use the cordless phone over the cell. Ultimately the first priority in a strong signal is your cell phone before even considering placement of the Cell2Jack, so consider that first by finding out where your signal is strongest where you live.Second point I’m going to go over, the Cell2Jack puts itself into pairing mode automatically when powered up if not able to pair with a previously paired device (or if this is your first time powering it up). This could be a bit of a problem if somebody close by accidentally hijacks the device with their own cell, but it’s fairly simple to re-pair to your own cell by entering a keypad code on your phone, just something to keep in mind if you start getting calls on your phone that aren’t getting to your cell (the cell should display calls coming in as you get called on your phone connected to the Cell2Jack. This will likely only be a problem if there is a power outage/flicker while you are away from home or if your phone is powered down.Third point is going to cause some problems if you are calling (or receiving calls) from automated systems; it seems the dial tones don’t correctly go through to the cell, so you’re likely going to find that you’ll still need to use the keypad on your cell if you have to navigate automated systems that require keypresses (dialing phone numbers is not a problem however).Forth point is related to picking up your voice. I’ve noticed that if somebody is talking or making noise through the phone (this includes wind going by an open window while driving, other background noises or even loud static on a call), it seems that your phone will stop picking up your voice (pretty common with bluetooth communication devices from my experience), this wasn’t an issue I had when I had wired or VOIP phone service. If you’re patient & can wait for a particularly talkative person to stop talking, this shouldn’t be a problem, but when it comes to talking with my mother, she’s constantly cutting me off, so I find myself repeating myself quite a bit using my phone with this device…In regards to Caller ID, it doesn’t seem to register correctly on my cordless phones. There’s a key code you can supposedly press in the instructions to make it carry over, but I haven’t seen it work yet (at least not fully; it does show a phone number, but no name)… Even if you have a phone that is capable of caller ID, you may find that you’re still going to be using your cell for caller ID (which can be a bit troublesome if you are using a multi-handset wireless phone). Additionally, keep in mind if the Caller ID isn’t functioning correctly, any phones that rely on Caller ID to set the time on your phone will never update to the correct time (as is the case with my wireless phones). In regards to using Voice Assistance, a lot of these functions may not work if your phone is locked, this can be an issue if your using a partyline (or multi-handset wireless phones) to access those functions from a room other than where your cell phone is.Final statement is while Cell2Jack can be useful making phones available in areas that would normally be deadzones or having a poor signal on your cell in your home, a bluetooth headset might be a better choice unless you already have a wired phone with functions you want to retain access to (like an answering machine, block list or programmed quickcalls), Cell2Jack just eliminates the concern of battery life when it comes to wireless communication devices.

    solves a problem
Land line = elderly people know how to use a housephone but they are expensiveCell phone = cheap but hard to use specially for the elderly peopleCell2jack solves this dilemma by getting the government free cell phone program then connect it to a housephone. Technically, cell2jack is the way the housephone can be bluetooth capable!!!

This really works and less expensive then others. Set and forget.
I’ve never endorsed a product here before, but this is an exception over nearly 20+ years of trading with Amazon. Our experience with this cell/pots gateway has been flawless for now near 5 years. Prior to this, we had an Xlink gateway that was never reliable from flip phones to our first smartphone. This one has essentially been set and forget once linked. We use it with a cheap cordless phone that we leave on the base in our home office. No problems with caller id like the one before or audio. I haven’t read the reviews, but the AI synopsis mentions build quality. It’s a tiny plastic box about 3″x 2″ that we’ve attached with Velcro tape on the side of our computer monitor’s riser. No issues. It provides a cell charging cable that our smartphone is always on in a desk stand when we’re home. For five years, we don’t even think about it when we get home, it just works. I can’t comment on distance because our office is right close to our door.Another point. if you have other pots interfaced equipment such as telephone interfaces such as radio interfaces/patches or older DTMF equipment/home controllers. It works great too within proximity of the gateway. We’ve never need worry about distance as our one is sitting nest to the gateway. I should also mention that this has worked with two generation of the cheapest Samsung smartphones for us.

We bought our daughter a gift of a replica candle stick telephone for her 1930’s themed library/reading room. The Cell2Jack allows the phone to operate in the way an original old style land line phone would have by connecting to her mobile (cell) phone via Bluetooth. She is thrilled! Her friends are blown away as to how she is able to answer an incoming call on an old candlestick phone as well as make calls by dialing out.

I don’t often write reviews but this product really works.Setup was effortless (using old iPhone and Panasonic cordless phone with 2 base stations).Call quality is acceptable, what one would expect from earlier generations of Bluetooth earpieces – relatively clear but not exceptional. There is a slight lag before the recipient’s phone rings when calling out but less so when calling in. Overall, very much value for money.

the device provide an amazing and swift integration between mobile phone and old rotary phones (or any other dial phones). no programing is required and ringing quality is good, I used it with socotel 63, worked like a charm. however I cannot use it for dialing. after referring back the problem to Cell2jack support team, they confirmed that in this stage their support and focus is on US market and they are adopting their dialing conventions. currently I am not using it awaiting any further updates to add a leading zero dialing function.

Okay, so I’m a dinosaur. I really liked having a stationary landline that was always in one place, had a proper receiver, and didn’t need to be charged. When I was informed by Bell that they were doing away with the old copper line phone systems, I was not happy. I absolutely hate a cellular. I hate looking at the screen, I hate having to swipe and tap on non-existent “buttons” and I hate its flat, rectangular, non-ergonomic shape that is so unnatural to talk into. I don’t know how I came across the Cell2Jack but I thought that it would be the ideal solution and after reading all of the reviews, I decided to try it out. Granted, it is not a true landline and still falls victim to the lousy cellular coverage and dropped calls we experience in this part of Nova Scotia but it allows me the illusion (delusion:)) of using a normal corded phone. The calls transfer through seamlessly, all the traditional phone features work the same, and calling is so much easier than with a cell phone. I keep the cell phone in a stand on the nightstand next to the bed where it is connected to the landline beside it and is kept plugged in so there is never any need to charge it. I should mention that I had an old cellular that I was able to put a simple Talk & Text plan on without the need for a data plan so for roughly $28 a month I can have a base phone that stays put at home while I take my personal cellular phone with me when I go out. My landline unit is connected via bluetooth to a couple of cordless phones and I can also use these the same way I did before. It is an ideal solution for me: the call comes into the home cellular phone, goes through the Cell2Jack and rings on my old landline phone/cordless phones wherever they are placed in the house. Having a dedicated cellular for home use means I no longer have to go searching for my friggin’ personal cellular phone which I never seem to be able to put down in the same place when I get back to the house. As I said – ideal.
