This is a great skin protector when fishing. Doesn’t wah off too fast either. I applied it at 7 am. & 1pm, on a fishing trip and didn’t get sunburn.

Shields Skin and Stays On
There was a brief time when I fell prey to the suntanned skin craze (in high school), and my skin turned as pink as a bunny’s nose. Ever since, sunscreen has played a big part in my life. We keep a bin full of options by the garage door.This set looked really good to me because of that “water resistant (80 minutes), and stays on strong when you sweat” feature. Most of my outdoor time is spent, well, sweating. We live in the southern U.S., where the humidity in the summer is just a few degrees lower than the temperature, and the temperature is just a few degrees lower than hell. If it wasn’t for all the effort we put in trying to make our amateur, hilly, wild pocket gardens rival professional efforts, we’d all relocate, and be able to walk at a normal pace, too.But that gardening is a battle. We don’t just have weeds; we have Kudzu; we don’t have a few trees, we have leaves falling annually from 450,021 trees; we don’t just have bugs, we have critters three inches long along with their many reptile and amphibian friends, and every mammal in the state eats the flowers you plant. So you get outside, you’re out all day, you’re using farming tools on a tiny plot of land, and you’re perspiring.This stuff does stay on, which is grand, because I positively drip outside. The spray is fast, easy, and far lighter than the lotion (which really seems like paint) you have to put on from other manufacturers. The cream is equally light, and reapplication isn’t a torment. Both are easy to clean off, also, after you go inside.AND, this sunscreen is free of reef-harming Octinoxate and Oxybenzone. That doesn’t mean it’s reef safe; different areas have different rules and you should check locally before using it – but omitting known harmful chemicals is certainly an excellent start.Lastly, I remember Coppertone’s early scent from when I was little – you could always tell who was wearing it. I don’t remember the smell as unpleasant, just recognizable. I didn’t find the scent of this unpleasant or as strong as that original smell (which I can still mentally conjure up). This is a great product, one I’ll trust when I wear. Hopefully they’ll be able to up the protection level as time goes by.

Ultimate combo to protect from the sun
The spray and face stick combo is always my favorite when it comes to buying sunscreen. No one likes to use the spray on their face and I also donât think you have as much control if you spray on your face. 50 SPF is perfect for us because we can use it ourselves as well as for the kids. This one is âsportâ but we use it when we are going out for the day like to the zoo or another outdoor event where the sun is out. Iâve used a lot of coppertone products and I know I can trust putting this on without getting sunburnt as long as we remember to re-apply after the suggested time. We donât typically use anything higher than a 50 for the kids as I donât think it really adds anything extra and is probably just overboard. The sport is ideal for outdoor activities because the kids can sweat and play and the sunscreen still does itâs job.The spray has a lock so it wonât accidentally go off inside your bag. Then you just twist to unlock and youâre good to spray. I know some donât like the spray because itâs not as controlled but we have never had an issue and our kids hate liquid sunscreen because of getting oily hands after.The stick is also really nice because you do get more control on the important part of your body to shield from the sun – your face. It works like a deodorant stick and you twist it up to use. It glides over the forehead, cheeks, and nose and is great to add extra protection. Spray just isnât made for the face so I really like that coppertone makes a combo bundle like this.

Spray on sunscreen is definitely the way to go if you are looking for a fast, convenient and less messy way to apply sunscreen. Liquid sunscreen that you rub into your skin has its place and has definite merits but I have really been enjoying the spray on kind yeah I’m kind because it takes less time to apply.What I like about this kind is that it doesn’t leave any streaks or white residues on my skin. It soaks in and dries pretty quickly.This is the first time I’ve ever used a sunscreen stick like this. I wasn’t sure how I would feel about it at first because it seemed a little gimmicky but it quickly won me over.It kind of looks like a deodorant stick and it essentially works in the same way. You spread it on the areas you wish to protect from the sun and it keeps your hands from getting greasy. It lends in nicely as well. I feel the stick gives you a little thicker coverage than the spray on kind. I like to use this on my face, especially my cheeks and nose.
