Great outdoor bistro lights! Perfect, short cord length for connecting strands together.
I bought these lights to hang on our privacy fence, all the way around our backyard. My husband and I like to entertain and our kids also like to have friends over, and we’ve done a lot of the last few years to completely overhaul our backyard and make it a nice place to hang out. These lights added the perfect “final touch” to the yard. I love that the cords are white, so they blend into the fence. I like that the bulbs are plastic and shatter-proof, and that they’re LED. They came with a few extra bulbs, which is great. The lights are a warm color, so they are not blindingly bright and are easy on the eyes, but they add the perfect amount of light to the yard and will be the perfect amount of light by the pool for night swimming. You can see, in one of my photos, that we have a solar motion-sensor spotlight attached to the fence, but those lights just don’t quite do the job we wanted them to. We wanted to both better illuminate our horseshoe pits and yard in general, and also be able to see our dogs when they’re outside in the dark because they love to stand in the shadows and ignore us when we’re calling them (jerks!).I bought the 200-foot and the 50-foot strands and it was exactly the right amount for our fencing. I looked at a LOT of bistro lights and the reason I chose these is because the end cords were short. The 200-foot is actually two 100-foot strands, so I knew I was going to be connecting the light strands together and didn’t want a 6 foot end cord to deal with. With these plugged together, you don’t even notice because it’s just the right length between the lights. I used the 50-foot strand by the pool and the two 100-foot strands on the other side of the yard and they meet right behind the shed, where I have them plugged into an outdoor timer. I have them turn on from around dusk-11pm, and then from 5am-6:30am and will adjust the timer to suit our needs as we get more daylight.I live in Connecticut and we’ve gotten quite a bit of rain and wind since I hung them up about a month ago (in the beginning of March) and they’re holding up great, so far.I used these hooks to hang them and they’re perfect: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0CC5MT56P/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1We are thrilled with these lights and highly recommend them!

Great product! Edison style bulbs nice change from the green wired globes I had.
Love my new Edison bulb string light setup. My pool enclosure has had string lights on it for close to 20 years. I’ve gone from the larger clear Christmas green wire style tear drop bulbs, to the green wired large clear globes. I love the way these lights illuminate the enclosure at night, but I was itching for a more sophisticated update from the green wire setup, also, the older style incandescent were limited in how many you could daisy chain together. So I had a series of extension chords inserted in the strain to give it a continuous lighting look. In come LEDs! I bought 2 sets of these Edison style bulbs strains, 150 ft and 100 ft knowing I had 2 power sources to pull from. This time I didn’t need to get as creative trying to create one long lighting string with extension cords. I drew up a plan on paper, essentially based similarly off the old run, figuring out the longest run for the 150fter. The 2 strains worked perfectly, whatever was left over that didn’t fit, I cut off with wire cutters. Additionally, I added wireless on/off controls with a GoSund plug adapter which can be turned on/off at the outlet manually, or through the phone app.Pros: All the Bulbs worked, but some needed to be tightened. Affordable, LED Edison style bulbs, that are replaceable, with black wiring that can be trimmed to fit. The light is a very pleasing brightness and color, and the bulbs are not spaced too wide, like other bistro black wire string lights. The pool enclosure on the house side is lower ceiling pitch, so a 3 foot spacing and low hanging like I’ve seen with other bistro style lights, would have not worked as well. The bulb Spacing and the way it comes directly off the wire with minimal hanging is perfect. The light is a warm glow that is perfect in my opinion. Also, the bulbs are plastic so it’s safer.Cons: These string lights are not boxed like Christmas lights from the big box stores that essentially peel away nicely from the cardboard separating them. These lights come rolled up with zip ties. If there is a trick to unbundling these things out off the box, there’s no indication of it. So I spent the first 5-10 minutes untangling the lines. No biggie…especially with a plastic bulb, it’s easy to untangle when you’re not concerned with the bulb tapping against a hard surface.Other thoughts: I will be curious how these things look after getting blasted in the sun over time. One of the advantages of glass is that it doesn’t fade or get cloudy. My gut tells me that plastic will eventually get foggy. We will see. For now I’m loving the setup.

UPDATE: Lasted 6 months- Company sent replacements
UPDATE: Product only lasted 6 months. First few bulbs burnt out, followed by more. Now 9 months later there are 10 dead bulbs. See photo – some got water inside. Not sure how .. I live in San Diego where it never rains.Company sent replacement. Happy Customer now!

Used as main lights in my childâs room
I had these lights for a year and a half and my kid didnât have any lights in her room so I put these on the ceiling and used them as her main lights. They are still kicking and theyâre great! I hooked them up to the light switch and havenât had any issues. Also they werenât this tacky and cheap looking yellow color. They were a nice warm yellow.

Beautiful color for backyard lights
I recently installed string lights in my backyard. I used cables then clipped these lights onto the cables. I like the clips they come with. The 2ft spacing between each bulb was good for backyard string lights. I like the shape of the bulbs and they seem very durable. Also, we strung a few different models of light up and I really think the 2200k color looks the best. It has a nice yellow look. We tested a 2700k light and it was a little white. The brightness is good 60 lumens but itâd be nicer if it was a little brighter. But 50 bulbs for an entire backyard isnât that many. I also connected it to a dimmer and that has helped a lot as there are some times you donât want it full brightness. I also looked at some solar powered models and they donât get bright enough, and would turn off when other lights were on as they go off of a light sensor. I spent a lot of time trying out different lights and Iâm very very happy with these.
