Received a previously used / opened product
I try to thoroughly research my purchases prior to placing them and everything seemed to check out with this product initially – reviews, product functionality and price.This is why I was disappointed when I received this item, with evident signs of the box previously being opened and the product used.Firstly, the safety seals in the product box were opened, see the image. Next, after opening the box I noticed that the selfie stick was not even packed within the plastic shipping bag, which was just there in the side – again, see the photo. Finally, I noticed marks on the grip of the stick, see photo.The overall build quality and size seem OK-ish, especially given the price.Stability seems a bit questionable, I mounted an iPhone 14 pro and it does wobble a bit at maximum height, but it did stand up.Did not test the Bluetooth remote.Given the build quality and packaging, particularly the fact that this item was evidently previously used (and I bought it “new”), I do not believe it is worth its listed price.Edit: the seller provided a replacement and the received unit was in new condition, thus improving the rating.

Top notch selfie stick
I’ve had this for about a year now and have taken it with me on all my travels. It has held up well to all the different terrains I have taken it to. I used it for photos and timelapses along the Swiss alps without issue. I’ve used it in hot and cold weather on the streets of Thailand, Bali, and Hong Kong without issues. the 4 pronged legs make it much sturdier than other selfie stands and the extra height has allowed more options for photos. It has also been useful for taking group photos at family gatherings as well. The bluetooth remote works great indoors but sometimes is finicky based on distance in outdoor environments. For those situations, I use my apple watch to control my iPhone so it isn’t as big of an issue. but for those who don’t have a watch, I would warn them to keep that in mind. Overall, I think it is an incredible deal at under $30.

Panoramic handle thing is very loose
This tripod stand works well for what it is. I like that it has a 4 prong base compared to the 3 prongs many other tripods have. It is very tall – was tough to pull apart fully the first time but after a couple times, it loosened up.This gets 3 stars because of the prong thing that sticks out at the top. I believe it’s to be used for panoramic photos or to reduce motion when taking videos; however, it is a very loose piece. The part where it connects to the tripod cannot be tightened. The rest of the tripod is heavy so when you hold on to the stick that stands out, the base swings forward and back. It’s not at all what I expected based on the pictures. I bought this because it had that stick compared to the alternative model I was thinking of purchasing. If you’re expecting the side stick thing to be secured, it is not.
