The Ergodyne Chill-Its 6602 Evaporative Cooling Towel uses a super evaporative PVA material to absorb water to then allow it to evaporate slowly for instant, long-lasting cooling relief. This super-evaporative PVA material is designed to create a feeling colder than ambient air temperature and absorb and hold more water than other cooling towels on the market for a longer-lasting cooling. HOW TO ACTIVATE
Run the PVA cooling towel under water for one minute or until saturated, wring out excess water and twirl or snap in the air for no-drip cooling. Drape the towel around neck or head for instant cooling relief. Material will dry stiff, simply rewet until soft to activate, and it’s ready to go again. Towel can be reused over and over. Before storing, examine product for dirt and debris. If soiled, machine wash then store in plastic tubing container for safe keeping.

Coolest thing to wear on a hot day
I LOVE Mr. Cooley! I have been a PE teacher for 30 years in the hot sun in San Diego and I wear Mr. Cooley ALL the time. It stays wet and cool for a long time, then I just add water to it around the neck and I’m back in business. I’ve retired and gave my Mr. Cooley to the other PE teacher but I found walking my neighborhood and biking in the summer, I need to cool down, so I bought a cheap version. POO! I wasted $ on that. They stay cool for about 10 mins. Flimsy and thin. I even wear Mr. Cooley in the house if we don’t want to turn on the A/C. I love the many colors too. I got the pink one. If you work outside, in the heat, it’s a must. Take it from a SD PE teacher.

This towel is the perfect size for what I use it for. And that is to put around my neck & chest for cooling purposes while taking my daily 4-5 mile walks in the dead of summer heat & humidity

Must have for outdoor summer activities!
In the state of AZ it can be difficult to enjoy summer activities, particularly outdoors. This makes outdoor concerts and events much more manageable by keeping you cool. As recommended by the manufacturer and multiple reviews, washing thoroughly before use is essential to remove excess dyes to avoid color bleed on yourself or items. One can easily use this item repeatedly by applying water, wringing out the excess and giving it a few waves to expose it to air. Drape it over your neck, head and/or face and experience the cooling sensation! Give it a simple hand wash and allow it to air dry if it gets a little musty or dirty.This product is not layered cloth and mesh but a shammy much like those used to dry vehicles after washing, which I have found to be vastly superior to the cheaply made alternatives. The reason for withholding the final star is due to the product being a little on the stiff side, but I expect that may simply be due to the towel being new and I suspect it will soften a bit after repeated use.All things considered, this is an excellent purchase at an excellent price and is an absolute staple for summer living and all things outdoors!

It might save a life
This was a repeat order based on previous satisfaction with product. I stocked up for increasing heat wave pattern in So-Cal. On the day after a mail carrier died on duty in a nearby location that reached 106, our own mail carrier expressed grief over the loss and concern for their own safety going forward in this weather. They said they were drinking water but had trouble cooling down during their shift. I took out my cooling towel and said, “You need one of these,” got it wet, and told them to keep it. The next day they told me how well it was working for them and what a difference it makes when they wrap the wet cooling towel around their head under their hat. I was surprised that it works underneath a hat but their uniform hat has air holes for circulation. I’m so happy to hear it made their job easier and healthier. The post office should pass these things out to all carriers. It’s getting hotter all the time and they’re either out in it or in their metal trucks, which must be like the sweatbox in “Coolhand Luke.”

Works but feels like cardboard when dry
Ok so this thing works but has a few flaws. Firstly it arrived “wet” and with a bit of an odor which I thought was strange but I really needed it for an event so I washed it and used it anyway. When I washed it, I could see some of the coloring coming off in my sink. Makes me wonder if it would have bled onto my clothing had I not thoroughly washed it first. The towel itself did its job at my event and kept me cool. But once it dried, it is like a piece of cardboard. So it’s just awkward to try to fold it up and store it for the next use. Not sure I’ll be keeping this but since I already used it, I cant return it.

Crazy material
I wish i would have taken a picture of this before i threw it away! You get it wet and put it around your neck and it feels like tire material. Its very rubbery and doesn’t lay flat on your neck. It doesn’t cool your neck really. It just hangs awkwardly. But the real kicker is when you let it dry. It dries like it’s has ironing starch in it and it’s like a board! So there is no folding it. It’s crazy. I did not like this product AT ALL. I bought the two neck tubes that you can put in the fridge/freezer and they are fine.

not a whole lot else to say, seems to work fine, but did need to add a little water to be able to fold it to put it away. it dries really stiff. not an issue, just something to remember if you want to be able to grab it and put it in your bag….. arrived fast, and seems to be good quality. kinda like a shamy cloth

I keep a few of these around the house because they have good cooling properties. I generally use them to keep cool during workouts and for sore muscle relief. They are also beneficial to keep cool during the hot summer months. They are easy to clean, and I have not experienced any issues (so far)Would definitely recommend, but only if you can get them for $10 or less

I wish I knew of these things years ago. I bought 2, and theyâre a Godsend. When Iâm gaming I throw one of these around the back of my neck and it keeps me cool. My apartment is also sickly hot in the summer, and these help at night if you can bear to sleep with them.

Garde au frais pour de longue periode avant d’avoir à le mouiller à nouveau. J’en ai acheté quatre. Ma conjointe porte le sein presque tous les jours l’été. Je porte le mien quand je travaille en fôret les journées de grande chaleur. Sinon, je le porte lorsque je m’arrête prendre une pose pour me garder au frais lors de mes sorties à vélo. L’étui de plastique dans lequel le linge est livré est super pour le transport du linge mouillé pour utilisation ultérieure. Très satisfait.

El producto me costó $110, asà que por el precio estoy muy satisfecha pues la toalla se mantiene fresca siempre y cuando esté húmeda. Lo no tan padre es que cuando pierde la humedad se pone rÃgida como chicharrón, eso no evita que la dobles. Recuperará su forma cuando la humedezcas. No te preocupes por el aroma, con un par de lavadas desaparece.
